Experts: North Korea a Fully Fledged Nuclear Power
The world’s intelligence agencies and defense experts are quietly acknowledging that North Korea has become a fully fledged nuclear power with the capacity to wipe out entire cities in Japan and South Korea, the Times of London reported.
The new reality has emerged in off-hand remarks and in single sentences buried in lengthy reports. Increasing numbers of authoritative experts — from the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to the U.S. Defense Secretary — are admitting that North Korea has miniaturized nuclear warheads to the extent that they can be launched on medium-range missiles, according to intelligence briefings.
This puts it ahead of Iran in the race for nuclear attack capability and seriously alters the balance of power between North Korea’s large but poorly equipped military and the South Korean and U.S. forces ranged against it. “North Korea has nuclear weapons, which is a matter of fact,” the head of the IAEA, Mohamed ElBaradei, said this week. “I don’t like to accept any country as a nuclear weapon state we have to face reality.” Foxnews.com
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton cautioned Israel's right-wing government on Thursday that it risked losing Arab support for fighting any threats from Iran if it shuns Palestinian peace talks.
Signaling U.S. impatience with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's reticence over peace talks, Clinton said Arab nations had made clear to her that Israel must be committed to the Palestinian peace process if it wants help countering Iran.
"For Israel to get the kind of strong support it is looking for vis-a-vis Iran, it can't stay on the sidelines with respect to the Palestinians and the peace efforts. They go hand in hand," she told the House of Representatives Appropriations Committee. Reuters
There are fears that the Taliban, who have already been handed control of the Swat valley, could now take Islamabad and topple the government.
'If the Taliban continue their advances at the current pace they will soon be knocking at the doors of Islamabad,' Fazl-ur-Rehman, head of the Jamiat-e-ulema-e-Islam, the country's largest Islamic party, told parliament.
Residents in the embattled Buner district claim militants have occupied police stations and that gun-toting fighters were roaming marketplaces urging people to support Sharia law.
Taliban fighters have also set up checkpoints and are patrolling roads.
Many police and government officials appear to have either fled or are keeping a low profile. Mail Online
Iran is on the doorstep of becoming a nuclear power while world defense experts are acknowledging that North Korea is in fact a nuclear power. “North Korea has nuclear weapons, which is a matter of fact,” the head of the IAEA, Mohamed ElBaradei, said this week. “I don’t like to accept any country as a nuclear weapon state we have to face reality.” Foxnews.com
If North Korea has been able to accomplish this while engaging in global negotiations, I have to believe their partner Iran (and possibly Syria) can't be far behind. We may be about to enter the time for which the Bible says, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come." (II Timothy 3:1)
This sets the stage for the kings of the East and their march
across Asia that will take place during the tribulation period. One-third
of the world's population will be killed during this march. (Revelation

In other news, Pakistan says that they are capable of defeating the Taliban and
that their nuclear weapons are safe, but 'If the Taliban continue their advances
at the current pace they will soon be knocking at the doors of Islamabad,'
Fazl-ur-Rehman, head of the Jamiat-e-ulema-e-Islam, the country's largest
Islamic party, told parliament. Mail

Intelligence experts say that Pakistan could literally fall to the Taliban within months along with their nuclear weapons arsenal.
Hezbollah has been projected to be the majority winner in the Lebanese parliament. This victory would replace a pro-US Lebanese government. If you remember, the US government just ok'd a large shipment of Turkish weapons to Lebanon without contacting the Israeli government of the shipment. This arms shipment will undoubtedly be used against Israel in their next war with Hezbollah. With this news, Israel should not hesitate to strike Lebanon with all their fury in their next war against Hezbollah.
Everyday, Israel's enemies seem to be getting stronger while their supposed friends (US and EU) continue to distance themselves from them in an attempt to pressure Israel into a ill-advised peace agreement.
