Newspaper: TONY Blair is set to be made the first President of Europe in weeks
He will be nominated by EU leaders in Brussels if, as expected, Ireland backs the hated Lisbon Treaty in tomorrow's referendum.
A senior Government source said: "If we get a 'Yes' vote it will all move very, very quickly. Tony could be named by the end of October."
The leaders of the EU's 27 nations, not the voters, will choose the president.

If true, this is a stunning declaration. For many years, Tony Blair has been on my short list of leaders to become the first European Union president. Many believe he could also turn out to be the coming Antichrist.
EU sources project, if Ireland votes 'yes' to the Lisbon Treaty, he could be named by the end of the month. As the article above states, the president will be appointed by the leaders of the EU rather than the people...which makes Revelation 17:12-13 all the more interesting. It states that the ten kings of the future kingdom of the Antichrist will give or lend their power to him. With the 27 leaders and not the people electing the new EU president, this looks to fall right in line with prophecy.

If elected, Mr. Blair would not formally take the presidency until the treaty has been ratified by all. Even if it is not ratified, don't rule out that a core of EU nations may go forward with Mr. Blair as their first EU president. If the core consists of only ten nations this would also fall in line with the above verses from Revelation 17.
Another fact that should be on the minds of every Christian is that we have experienced multiple massive earthquakes just in the last day or so.
