Report: Source says US holding off on Mideast peace talks
American officials told London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper that Washington is not interested in pressuring the Israelis and Palestinians into commencing peace negotiations before both parties are ready to do so.

Back in 2008, prior to the US presidential election, I wrote a number of articles on what I believe would happen if Barack Obama were elected president. The two main points that I presented were, one, I did not believe he was the Antichrist, but his inability to run the US and the world would bring about the need for a savior (Antichrist). Already, we are hearing like never before, cries out loud for a new world order...which I never thought I would hear so vocally. Forget about the conspiracy theorist secret societies, world leaders from across the globe are looking for someone to step forward with a plan and lead them out of the messes they find themselves in. Of course, most, if not all international leaders place the blame for this mess squarely upon the US. Rumors abound that the dollar is about to be replaced as the world bank reserve currency for a mix of global currencies, and that oil leaders are secretly plotting to replace the dollar as well, as the oil currency (currency the world will use to buy crude on the global market). If this were to happen the US dollar would likely collapse and inflation would run wild. Depending on which economist you talk to will determine the degree of the damage this would inflict on the US and economy's abroad.
The second point, US President Obama would continue the push for Middle East peace but would, early on in his first term, be forced to put it on the back burner due to overwhelming domestic problems in the US. Although, US sources are claiming the president has not given up on the ME peace process, but merely waiting until both sides are ready to resume, I think it is due to the urgency of the economic problems at home.
With this said, I believe this pause will open up the door for the European Union to take the lead in the Middle East peace process. Certainly, I don't know the future but this is my educated guess. This is what makes this new secretive EU election that more interesting. Frankly, it doesn't really matter who the new EU president turns out to be (if the Antichrist does emerge out of the EU), when Satan takes control the future Antichrist will become the most charismatic and powerful leader in the world...possibly an overnight sensation! And when he possesses him at the mid-way point of the tribulation period he will personify the full evil that is Satan. Friends, no one has ever witnessed the fullness and totality of Satan's power and wrath, but one day soon they will.
