The Fate Of Islam According To Satan During The Tribulation Period
Islam is exploding during these last days. What part will this religion play during the tribulation period?
If Satan has his way, and he will to some extent, the religion of Islam will be dead by the midway point of the tribulation period. Just like Christianity, Satan will have no tolerance for Allah the god of Islam, who presently has a following of nearly 2 billion converts worldwide. Satan's mission from the beginning will be to have exclusive worship worldwide, and he will nearly accomplish his goal. The Bible is clear "all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (Antichrist), whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8)." This Scripture states that no other religions will survive but the worship of Christ and Antichrist. Once he has established control through his Antichrist, he will succeed in destroying the world religious system...including Islam.
Actually, it is my belief that Islam will fall early in the tribulation period after its miraculous defeat by the true God of Israel at the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38 & 39). Following this great defeat, I speculate that this will spark a mass exodus from the religion of Islam (and other religions) to Christianity, but not without a cost.
When the fifth seal is opened in Revelation 6:9-11, the scene switches to heaven where there is an innumerable number who have been killed "for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held". These are tribulation Saints who have been killed for their faith in Christ. I believe many of these martyred Saints will come out of the Muslim religion. It is well known in the Islamic faith, if one converts to another religion, they must be killed. I believe this will be the fate of many during the tribulation period that convert to Christianity from Islam. Many will be killed by their own family members in what is known as honor killing. Today, over 3,500 Christians are killed worldwide each day due to their undying faith in Christ. Look for that number to explode exponentially during the tribulation period.
