Satan May Not Be The One Who First Chooses The Antichrist; Prince Charles Antichrist?
Question
What is your view on Prince Charles of Wales as
the Antichrist? His name does
calculate to 666. Work it out on the name “Prince Charles of Wales”. I
just find it interesting.
Also, the meaning of the name Charles is “man”. I’m sure you know the passage in Revelations. Charles was born in 1948 (Israel) and his genealogy dates back to King David apparently the 145th descendant I have read. I’m not saying all this is true. Just like to hear your view.

My view is I don't know who the Antichrist will be. I don’t
believe Satan does either. In fact, I don't believe Satan knows the day he
is living in nor does he know when the rapture will take place. But when
it does take place he (or God) will then choose the false prophet and
Antichrist.
Here's something I haven't shared before. Satan may not choose the
Antichrist at all. God may choose the Antichrist. Here's my point.
When Jesus chose His twelve disciples, He chose Judas as one of them. He
did this knowing well in advance Judas was a devil and would betray Him (John
6:70; Matthew 10:4).
Satan, on the other hand, had no clue as to why or for what purpose Jesus came
to the earth. He was completely in the dark, but still felt that his best
plan was to kill the Lord not knowing He had come to die for the sins of all
mankind. In attempting to destroy
the plan of God, Satan fulfilled the only way man could ultimately be saved.
For it is only through the shedding of blood that one can be saved
(Hebrews 9:22, 28).
But for Satan to complete his plan he had to find a way to get close to the
Lord. I speculate that Judas was the only one of the twelve disciples that
Satan could possess. He wasn't a
true believer, thus he would be open to demon possession.
A similar scenario could play out during the tribulation period.
It is possible that God will ultimately choose the Antichrist and false prophet.
He could place them in the seat of
world power to fulfill His plan. It
is possible Satan could possess them later (at halfway
point of the tribulation) once he is cast out of heaven and confined to
the earth permanently. When he chooses his Antichrist and false prophet,
his criteria will likely be based on who is in the best position to fulfill his
plan (self worship and world dictator) at that time.
Just as Satan selected Judas to fulfill his immediate plans over 2,000 years ago, I believe he will do the same with the Antichrist and false prophet. However, one important aspect should be pointed out..Satan did not choose Judas from the beginning…Jesus did! What Satan did do is select the person (Judas) that God ultimately positioned knowing he would be Satan’s premier choice. In the end, I believe it is possible that Satan may not select his Antichrist and false prophet until after he is defeated and cast out of heaven at the midway point of the tribulation period.
I also wouldn’t rule out that much of his governmental (military leaders) staff will be demon possessed as well. When Satan is cast out of heaven so will his demonic army. That’s one-third of the angels in heaven. All those demons will likely be looking for a body to possess if God allows it…and I believe he will. This is a horrible reality that many don’t take into consideration when addressing the terrifying events of the tribulation period. Can you imagine the terror this world will endure when possibly millions of demons are confined to the earth?
As far as
Prince Charles being the Antichrist, we'll have to wait and see...but personally
I doubt it. He is not an actual leader with real world power. The
Antichrist will be a ruthless killer with fearful military might at his disposal
the likes of which the world has never seen.
