To send comments and questions please click here to go to our main page. 21 October, 2002 By JAMIE TARABAY, Associated Press Writer KARKUR JUNCTION, Israel (AP) - A car pulled alongside a bus and exploded in northern Israel during the Monday afternoon rush hour, killing at least 13 people and wounding more than 30 as the entire bus was engulfed in flames. The powerful blast, which turned the bus and the car into blackened skeletons, took place several miles inland from the coastal town of Hadera, at Karkur Junction. The intense flames sent plumes of smoke into the sky and initially prevented police and rescue workers from approaching the bus. "A car full of explosives drew up next to the bus and blew up," Zelig Feiner, spokesman for Zaka rescue service, told The Associated Press. "Then the bus exploded into flames, trapping a lot of people on board." END The U.S. for some reason keeps calling on the Israeli government to ease up on the curfew in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Every time the Israelis have obliged they have paid dearly with a power bomb blast that has killed and injured a tremendous amount of people. I really can't see how this is going to go on much longer. Of course, if you have been reading my updates you know that I believe that a peace treaty with Israeli is just around the corner. Although, not the kind of peace treaty you might envision. I believe that the antichrist is going to come forward and agree to protect Israel from homicide bombers and would be attackers. He will accomplish this through making agreements with many countries. It is my guess that many of those countries will be Arab nations, but many will also be a part of the free world. He will have the blessing of the U.N., and more importantly, of the United States. Many concessions will be made for this plan to work. Israel will have to dismantle all settlements on Palestinian land (Gaza Strip & West Bank). Jerusalem will become an international city. Palestine will be awarded East Jerusalem to be their capital and Israel will be awarded West Jerusalem as their capital. The Dome of the Rock, which is located over top the old ancient ruins of the Jewish temple, will stay put. The Jews will be granted permission to build their temple right next door. Believe it or not Israel is much like a little cousin to the U.S. They are guided by our leadership and for the most part do what we request. This will be no different. Pressure from the outside world and a leader that they trust will fool them into allowing these changes to take place. Of course, many in Israel are very weary over the constant fear of homicide bombers. They will be eager to embrace a plan that will end all the violence as well as the leader who brings it about. One other thing, the U.S. is pushing the E.U. to initiate them as members of the union. This is sort of a reward for allowing the United States to use their airstrips in the event of an Iraqi invasion. The target date for inclusion is the year 2007. The problem with this happening is that Turkey is prophesied in Ezekiel 38 & 39 to be apart of the Russian lead attack on Israel. I believe this attack will take place shortly before the tribulation period begins or sometime in the middle of the tribulation. This only leads me to believe that their inclusion will not take place. Either they are rejected by the E.U. for membership or the attack takes place before inclusion. My guess is that they are denied inclusion and eventually strike up a secret alliance with Russia as Iran and Iraq has. Please remember to pray for peace in Israel.
