fairly well through our writing, both the stuff that is published and the
private messages between us. I have a great deal of regard for his intellect,
his writing skill, his life accomplishments, and when he raises questions that
sound very much like: "how can we see our future as anything but
hopeless," I tend to sit up and listen. North Korea warned Sunday that if the United States ignites a
war on the Korean peninsula, the world "will suffer horrifying nuclear
disasters," according to a newspaper article released by Pyongyang's Korean
Central News Agency. The article in Rodong Sinmun also said the U.S. is
"pushing ahead with nuclear war preparations in full swing on the Korean
peninsula," according to the news agency. Comments But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning
them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. I
Thessalonians 4:13 I have been getting a few emails by individuals who are a
little fearful of the coming days. These have been born again
believer's. I am writing you today to tell you that whatever happens
tomorrow, our hope is in the Lord and He is in control. Please don't get excited about the state of world affairs as
the writer who wrote the above article "End Of Days". This man
has no hope and desperately needs the Lord in his life to
give him that hope and assurance about tomorrow. The articles that I am bringing you are indeed bleak for those
who are not saved, but for those of us that know the Lord it is just another
step toward our eternal home. Besides, God will not allow anything to
happen to you that He does not put His seal of approval on...even death or
persecution. Yes, you may have to endure some persecution and possibly
death for your faith. That is all a part of the Christian life. Does
that mean that I now believe that we as Christians will be going through the
tribulation period? No! I still believe the Bible supports a
pre-tribulation rapture, but you must remember that no Christian is exempt from
persecution or death in this life. That also doesn't mean that it is
mandatory that a Christian must suffer either. Although, history has
proven that the church has flourished 100% of the time under persecution, the
only times they have fallen has been under prosperous times. Please, don't be alarmed when you hear of troubling times and
the days ahead. Count it all joy knowing that the Lord is in
control. We do have a Hope that is eternal in our Lord Jesus Christ. This just in: North Korean MIG fighter jets surrounded a U.S.
spy plane flying over the Korean Peninsula over the weekend. The situation
became tense when one of the MIGs locked onto the U.S. plane, but no missiles
were fired. Pastor Malone
