To Repair Europe-U.S. Divisions "There is, at the end of this, going to have to be a
discussion and, indeed, a reckoning about the relations between America and
Europe," said Blair, who as America's principal ally, is at the center
of trans-Atlantic tensions over a war that is unpopular on the Continent. Comments I can't say this enough...keep an eye on this guy. If
you have been a subscriber to my email alerts for very long, you know that I
have been speculating that Prime Minister Tony Blair may indeed be the first
permanent Prime Minister of the European Union, and I shutter to say, the future
antichrist. Of course, that's not to say the antichrist could still be
lurking behind the scenes. It has always been my belief that we probably
will not know for sure until after the restrainer is removed (II Thessalonians
2:1-11). That restrainer, which I believe to be the Holy Spirit, will be
removed at the time of the rapture. For within every born again Christian
resides the Holy Spirit. When Christians are raptured the Holy Spirit will
be taken with them. But just as the Holy Spirit indwelled the early
church, He will return to indwell the 144,000 witnesses, at the beginning of the
tribulation period, to preach the Gospel to a lost and dying world. Many
will come to know the Lord during this time. But before this happens, I fully believe that there will be a
space of time that will pass between the rapture and the beginning of the
tribulation period. During this time satan will be given full reign to do
as he pleases for which he will select his antichrist and false prophet.
They may already be in a place and position of power, but I doubt that they
really are aware of their future. God has allowed satan to bring these
future leaders to where they are today to meet his final purpose. Soon
they will be empowered like no other leaders have been empowered. Until
that day, I can see a string of successive accomplishments for Mr. Blair.
Performing the role of a superpower mediator is a very big step. Two weeks
ago every news anchor in the world was claiming that he was committing political
suicide by getting involved in the Iraqi War. Today, the overwhelming
majority of his countrymen support him and the war effort, not to mention his
approval rating has literally doubled overnight. Where does this all lead to? Maybe nowhere! The
future is in the hands of the Lord and things can change in a minute. But
let your discerning minds take notice and you make your own decision...I could
be wrong. One other thing, whoever works out the peace treaty with
Israel I believe they will have to be a trusted friend of Israel's. That
list is very short and Tony Blair just happens to be on it.
Prime Minister Tony Blair said he was flying to the
United States on Wednesday to confer with President George W. Bush about the
need to mend European-American divisions caused by the military campaign in
Iraq and to involve the United Nations in any postwar Baghdad
administration.
