Learn what will happen during the tribulation period from beginning to end

written an article. Actually, I
haven’t seen much going on in the world that regards to prophecy. Many today point to Iraq as a significant
step in Bible prophecy, but I just see it as another war that is making the Arab
world hate and mistrust the U.S. The
real significance of this war (as with the Afghan War) is an ever-widening gulf
that is being created between the west and the Arabs. By the time this is over, the Arabs will not trust the U.S to
broken a deal between them and Israel. This
mistrust will create a straight path for the antichrist when the time is right. Although I sense that the antichrist could
be Prime Minister Blair, I could be totally wrong.
After all, I don’t really have a lot of proof to go on. Recently, I had a reader write to me
claiming that my belief that Tony Blair was the antichrist was absurd.
The person was under the impression that he was a born again Christian.
Take a look at this article by Joe Klein of The Guardian written in June
of 2001 and draw your own conclusion. The
title of the article is Profile:
Tony Blair -True Colours,
and it speaks of how little we know about Tony Blair and his true religious
beliefs. Here is an excerpt from
that article. “Even
Blair's rather admirable and least fashionable attribute - his faith in God -
has an ad hoc, pragmatic feel to it: his religious confirmation, while at
Oxford, seems more a philosophical gesture than a full-blown acceptance of a
personal saviour, at least as described in Rentoul's biography. Blair is quoted:
“I had always believed in God but I had become slightly detached from it. I
couldn't make sense of it. Peter [Thompson, a Christian Socialist mentor] made
it relevant, practical rather than theological. Religion became less of a
personal relationship with God. I began to see it in a much more social
context.”” http://politics.guardian.co.uk/labour/comment/0,9236,502936,00.html Does
this prove that Tony Blair will be the antichrist?
Of course not! But it does
shed light on his religious beliefs and that they are more philosophical than
personal. In other words, it’s a
good political move to be religious in some form even if it’s only a gesture.
Certainly,
I respect the thoughts and views of my readers and what they may have to
contribute. Some of the most
thought provoking articles I have written were derived from viewer email and
this is no exception. Whether
or not Mr. Blair turns out to be the antichrist will be up to the Lord.
But whoever eventually surfaces, he will be a terrible person, and will
reign with fear and trembling upon those of the earth (Revelation 13:1-4). If
you don’t know the Lord today is the day.
