Learn what will happen during the tribulation period from beginning to end
Your comments and questions are always welcome. To send comments and questions please click here to go to our main page Question September 6, 1999 Pastor Malone I have been reading your page for some time now and have been very excited
to watch events unfold according to scripture. I have read and re-read your
predictions pertaining to the peace talks and the West Bank. You said that
you believed that Benjamin Netanyahu would kick the Palestinians out of the
West Bank and rebuild the temple. What happens now with the new prime
minister giving UP the West Bank TO the Palestinians? What is your
thoughts on this? Thanks for you page and your time, Shelina Costlow Answer Dear Shelina: The players have changed, but the end result remains the same. Obviously, I am not a prophet, I only discern the scriptures and try to make intelligent assumptions based on God's Word. Many twists and turns could take place between now and beginning of the tribulation period, but the end result will not change. As you know the Palestinians and the Israeli's have signed a tentative peace
accord in exchange for peace. This peace accord will not last. This peace
accord is an equivalent of allowing a robber who has been camping outside
your house, who has been taking random shots at you, to come in and stay in
your basement apartment. Of course, it's in exchange for not shooting at
you anymore. Eventually, the robber (Palestinians) will plan their move,
with the rest of the Arab world, and launch an all out attack on the
Israelis. With the Palestinians already on the inside the attack will be
much easier. Anyone who thinks this will lead to peace is crazy and very gullible. Peace
through strength has and always will be the only deterrent to war. I would
just love to believe that the Palestinians just want to co-exist with the
Israelis. But that hasn't worked for over 4,000 years since they first
introduced themselves to each other and it's not going to work now.
Besides, it's a well known fact that they hate each other and are bitter
enemies. A leopard just can change his spots. This is the scenario I see. The peace accord is signed as written (with a few adjustments) . The
Palestinian's move into the West Bank. Everything's alright for a little
while, and maybe even a few years. Of course, pockets of resistance, and
threats of war are always present. They will constantly be going back to
the negotiation table to try to avoid war. The Palestinians will constantly
break the rules of the agreement (as they have in the past) to
achieve a better foothold on Israel. Eventually, Israel will say enough is
enough. The Arabs, realizing they have milked this so-called peace accord
as much as they can, will plan their attack from within and the rest of the
Arab world from without. The Israelis could add fuel to the fire by
attempting to rebuild the temple and begin construction on the historic
temple site. That would be a big problem because the Arabs already have a
temple on that site. This would insight an Arab nation holy war. Just before an all out war breaks loose the antichrist will come on the
scene and literally solve the problem. Finally, real peace in the Middle
East will be achieved. There will be no war and they will co-exist.
Everyone will consider this man to be the answer to calming a volatile
world. Of course, you know what follows, but more importantly, where it all
ends. I hope I have given you some insight into this situation. Pastor Malone
