Palestinian Prime Minister Abbas has stepped down, but many believe it will be temporary to send a message to Palestinian leadership.
Personally, I don't believe this has anything to do with prophecy but merely apart of the long process. Whether Abbas goes or stays will have little to do with the outcome.
Iran has tested a missile that is capable of hitting Israeli cities. The missile, although not the main concern, is a problem because it can be equipped with a nuclear warhead.
Iran is working on bigger plans then ballistic missiles. The Bible details an attack (Ezekiel 38 & 39) it will one day in the near future move on. Although there is no mention of nuclear or conventional missiles mentioned in scripture, you can bet they will be used. Of course, when God destroys the armies of the invaders with pestilence, disease, and reigning fire and brimstone from heaven, I'm sure He will destroy any incoming missiles as well.
But before that there will be peace in the land however short-term it maybe. Ezekiel 38:11 states "And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates." This is talking about the future invasion of Israel by the Russian/Arab alliance. If you notice in this verse it states that they will attack Israel when they are at rest and dwell safely. This is a picture of a time when Israel is at peace and is living comfortably within their own land. There are only two times that this could be speaking of either after the peace treaty is signed or at the conclusion of the millennium age. It cannot be the latter because the war at the end of the millennium will leave no survivors. Ezekiel 39:2 clearly states that one-sixth of the invading army will survive. This must be speaking of a time when Israel will be at peace for a short time in the future possibly before or during the tribulation period. But either way, this roadmap to peace will eventually work.
