EU And US Should Forge Economic Alliance
EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - A radical new vision of transatlantic economic policy was unveiled today by a group that includes the German Deputy Finance Minister.

The Transatlantic Strategy Group proposes that the EU and the US forge an informal "G2" economic alliance, co-operating more closely on currency and trade issues. This could eventually lead to a currency alliance between the two economic blocks.

Egypt Says Arafat Removal Would Be 'Terrorist Act'...
CAIRO, Oct 6 (Reuters) - Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak said on Monday if Israel expelled Palestinian President Yasser Arafat it would be a "terrorist act" condemned by the international community.

Israeli calls to expel Arafat intensified after a Palestinian suicide bomb killed 19 people in Haifa two days ago, but Mubarak warned Israel of "grave consequences" if they went ahead and removed the Palestinian leader.

"If Israel carries out its threat (to expel Arafat), it will not achieve its goal...this illegal act considered to be terrorist and condemned by the entire international community will not lead to anything but the promotion of a climate of violence and despair", Mubarak said.

The first article I believe has a direct correlation with Revelation 17:1-5.  Here is the passage:

[1] And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
[2] With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
[3] So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
[4] And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
[5] And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

This is a picture of what I believe to be the E.U. (kingdom of the beast) and the U.S. (Mystery Babylon). I believe that the E.U. and the U.S. will forge a partnership in the last days that will eventually comeback to haunt the U.S.  Later in the chapter 17 the Bible states that E.U. will turn on the U.S. and destroy them completely.  But before that, they will form several alliances.  I have already past on to you that they are in talks to open up air travel between the two countries (Article# 252).  Look for this bond to grow even closer in the near future.  They will rule the world together, but the U.S. will be in control and ride the beast up until it is destroyed.  If I were you I'd keep an eye on these two countries and the direction of where their relationship is heading.

In the second article, Egypt is showing their real colors.  Although they have a peace accord (only on paper) they are really waiting for the right moment when the Arab world will attack and destroy Israel.  That day will come soon but will reap a very different outcome.
