Question

Hi Pastor:

2 questions -

The bible clearly states that fleeing Jews will go to Petra. Won't the antichrist know this if I certainly do?

Where will the remaining humans be after the tribulation when God purges the earth with fire?

Thanks

Answer

Dennis:

Since you’re a Christian, you’re supposed to know this!  God has revealed it to you.  He may or may not reveal it to an unsaved person.

That goes for the antichrist as well.  He will only know what the Holy Spirit will allow him to know.  Many believe that satan knows the whole Bible, but just because he used scripture to tempt the Lord in the wilderness doesn't mean that he understands it all.  For anyone to understand the complete Bible and the principles therein he/she must have the Holy Spirit to explain it to them.  An unsaved person might read it and may understand some details but that's only because the Spirit is opening their eyes a little that they might be saved.  But as you might remember, satan twisted scripture when he confronted Eve and as well when he tempted the Lord.  Satan, the fallen angel, knows only what the Lord has revealed to him though.  Take a look at this passage of scripture found in I Peter 1:8-12:

[8] Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
[9] Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
[10] Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
[11] Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
[12] Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

Verse twelve indicates that there are things that God hasn't revealed unto the angels (salvation or prophetic interpretation).  According to this scripture they simply don't grasp the full concept.  It hasn't been revealed to them.  Satan would certainly be no exception.  God only reveals things to those He wishes to receive it with the main recipients being His children.

One other thing I need to bring out!  Satan is merely a tool for God's use.  He may use him to conform us to be more like Christ.  He may use Him to bring others to seek Him or to separate the wheat from the chaff (millennium) or anyone of a million reasons.

Contrary to what you may think, this isn't a war of good versus evil.  God isn't sitting in some heavenly war room trying to anticipate satan's next move.  The battles over and the victory has already been won.  Jesus didn't die on the cross to counter what satan did back in the garden.  Jesus died because we are sinners (apart from satan) and we are in desperate need of a Savior, period!  This becomes profoundly evident during the millennium age for which satan will be absent, chained and banished from the earth for one thousand years (Revelation 20:1-3).  But the Bible states that even though satan is gone He (Jesus) will have to rule the world with a rod of iron (Revelation 19:15).  This very topic will be covered in my upcoming book.

I want you to read an email that a reader sent me recently.  It tragically sums up what I am saying in this article:

Reader Email

I don't understand what all this "getting saved" crap is about.  It sounds to me like you’re all religious fanatics.  It's disgusting!  I don’t see what dedicating your life to God will do for anyone.  If it works for you great, but it's totally not for me.  You people act like if you’re not saved you'll go to hell!  But that's ridiculous there is no such place as hell or heaven!  I don't believe in satan, demons, angels.  We don't even have any proof that God exists.  The bible is one of the most mythical books every written, I know I have to read it for my religion class at school.  It's a load of crap written in it.

My Reply

It's not only a load of crap to you but to everyone that God has not drawn to Him.  In fact the Bible is full of scripture that states that it is foolishness to those who do not believe (I Corinthians 1:1 & 2).  I expect you to say exactly what you have said and so does God.  This is the way a normal person without Christ feels.

The only thing I can do for you is pray that the Lord will open your eyes and show Himself to you.  I encourage you to ask the Lord sincerely to show Himself to you.  If you're sincere He will.  Start seeking Him in the Word and through prayer and you may see a change.

Now onto your second question, “Where will the remaining humans be after the tribulation when god purges the earth with fire?

When Jesus comes to rule and reign on the earth, those who come to know Christ during the tribulation period, will be ushered into the millennium age to live a full life.  They could live to be one thousand years old.  The time you are speaking of when God destroys the heavens and the earth with fire will be during the eternal state following the millennium and the Judgments.  The eternal state will be just that….the rest of our eternity with Christ.  This too is covered in the last chapter of my upcoming book.

I hope this has answered your questions.
