Sharon: "Outposts Will Be Dismantled, Period!"
Unauthorized outposts will be dismantled, period.” So said Prime Minister
Ariel Sharon in his much anticipated address tonight (Thursday) at the Herzliya
Conference.
There was great tension in the political and defense establishments in Israel
and abroad as Prime Minister Ariel Sharon delivered his speech at the Herzliya
Conference this evening. The speech was aired live on television across the
world - even on the Arab Al-Jazeera network.
Bush,
Blair: Libya To Dismantle WMD Programs Comments These are good steps in the direction of peace but I
still have doubts that it will ultimately get done without the help of the
coming E.U. leader. As you know, I believe he will turn out to be the
antichrist. Although E.U. elections for their first president are
set for spring/summer 2004 that doesn't mean the winner will be the antichrist.
The leader that makes peace with Israel is the key to who it will be. Speaking of the E.U., talks over their constitution
have collapsed and may not resume for another six months to a year. There
have also been rumors of secret deals between France, Germany and other E.U.
members that they have formed alliances outside of the E.U. I haven't
heard much follow up regarding this story, but some have suggested a possible
defection from the E.U. could be in the works. I don't see that happening, but the Bible does
specifically state that the antichrist's kingdom will be ten nations. Of
course, that probably means it will have ten dominant kings. Just as
Nebuchadnezzar's dream (Daniel 2) depicts the Old Roman Empire as two legs of
iron (East and West regions), even though it encompassed many nations, it stands
to reason the New Roman Empire will have ten dominant kings among many nations. It also states that three of the ten will rebel, or
possibly defect, and will have to be subdued (Daniel 7:24). I believe this
will happen around the time the antichrist declares himself to be God (middle of
the tribulation period). I have a feeling France, Germany and possibly
Great Britain will see him as another Hitler. They will be crushed. Although there are no signs of anyone remotely
challenging the U.S. military in the near future, the Bible declares that the
antichrist, for a brief moment, will rule the world (Revelation 13).
During his reign, he will destroy all who stand in his way including the U.S. It's hard to imagine this could
happen since the U.S. is profoundly ahead of even its closest military rivals.
But we seem to lose sight of the fact that satan has always been the god of this
world. He would love to destroy the U.S., but has had his hands tied due
to their friendship with Israel. But you can bet the U.S. will have its
day in court for their part in forcing Israel into an ill-fated Roadmap to
Peace. Its not that the U.S. will somehow be weakened over time, the fact
of the matter is, no weapon formed by man is any match for satan, just as satan
is no match for God. It's always been a matter of God allowing satan to do
as He pleases. If it were up to satan, he would destroy everything and
anyone that did not worship him. In
the end, that’s exactly what it will come down to. Bush and Blair continue to team up as
the world's two most powerful world leaders. He's still on my watch list
as a possible antichrist candidate. Disclaimer: If
an unChristian banner comes up just ignore it. It is a mistake that will
eventually be rectified
Libya has tried to develop weapons of mass destruction and long-range missiles
in the past, but has agreed to dismantle the programs, President Bush and
British Prime Minister Tony Blair said Friday in simultaneous televised
speeches.
Israeli Prime Minister Sharon is starting to make
concessions but no timeline has been set for implementation. He also
stated that he would honor a ceasefire agreement with the Palestinians.
