Comments
Russian President, Vladimir Putin has dismissed his entire cabinet, although,
he claims they resigned. Supposedly, this was a retooling move in
preparation for the upcoming elections.
A reader wrote me and asked if this sudden turn of events had any prophetic
significance. Truthfully, not directly! But indirectly, it could
have major significance. Major from this perspective. For many years
I have been looking for the return of the old Soviet Union. When Putin
took office in January of 2000 that was the beginning of the end as far as
democratic reforms were concerned. Not long after, the old Soviet Red Star
was reinstated as the official symbol of the military. The Red Star was a
symbol of Soviet oppression for decades. Since then, there have been more
than a few suspect policy moves by President Putin.
Personally, I think it's only a matter of time before Russia retransforms
itself back into the feared powerhouse of its former years. This will be
the springboard that will lead to the bold move to take Israel. I am
convinced this will happen in our generation.
