Al-Qaida's No. 2 Claims to Have Suitcase NukesIn an interview scheduled to be televised on Monday, Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir said Ayman al-Zawahri claimed that ``smart briefcase bombs'' were available on the black market. It was not clear when the interview between Mir and al-Zawahri took place.
U.S. intelligence agencies have long believed that al-Qaida attempted to acquire a nuclear device on the black market, but say there is no evidence it was successful.

Al-Qaida's number two man claims that they now have suitcase nuclear
weapons. This is a very real fear that I have been talking about for
many years. This announcement has been downplayed but you can bet it's
got the world on alert.
Of course, this could be a bluff, but don't be surprised if the unthinkable happens in the near future. How near? Will it happen on American soil? Only God can answer these questions!
Do you know the Lord? If not, your time maybe running out!
