Comments
Did you know that British Prime Minister Tony Blair burst onto the scene in 1997?  Since then, he has taken major strides in world politics.

His latest call for a referendum on the E.U. constitution has taken English politics by surprise.  In fact, many are saying that this move to push England toward getting more involved in the E.U. decision-making could be political suicide.  ""The Daily Mirror concluded that Blair "cannot survive losing this referendum -- too much is at stake.""

Personally, I don't see him losing, but if he does, that may eliminate his name as a future prospect.  But this is a major move for Mr. Blair.  Only time will tell if he will survive.
