Israeli/U.S.
Anti-Missile Defense System Successfully Tested Off Calif....
Israel and the United States on Thursday held a successful
test of the Arrow anti-ballistic missile system - the world's only operational
missile killer system - off the coast of California.
The Defense Ministry and the Israel Aircraft Industries
announced Thursday that the Arrow successfully intercepted an incoming Scud
ballistic missile, in flight over the Pacific Ocean.
The realistic test of the Arrow ABM system was the first of its kind and had
been planned for two years.
Since the last Gulf War, Israel - with U.S. financial backing - has developed
the Arrow anti-missile missile,
At approximately 8:25 P.M. Israel time, a Scud missile, confiscated by the
United States from Iraq, was launched from a U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center, at
Point Magu near Los Angeles. The Scud was identified and fixed by the system's
radar, Green Pine, and it directed an Arrow missile at the target, intercepting
it fully.

Bush: Stop Israeli Strike On Iran's Nuke Sites...
"Israel faces an existential threat, and it must be able to defend itself
by itself by preserving its deterrent capability," Sharon said. "We
have received here a clear American position that says in other words that
Israel must not be touched when it comes to its deterrent capability."
An air strike on Iran's nuclear facilities would incur civilian casualties, the report said. It pointed out that many of Iran's nuclear facilities have been located in or near urban centers.
Israel has never directly threatened Iran's nuclear facilities. But the Sharon government has warned that it would not allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapons arsenal.

officials have received credible intelligence that al Qaeda has been plotting to
carry out suicide attacks on corporations based in the city.
Sources at several law enforcement agencies tell ABC News that an "overseas source" has provided the information about the threat to New York and that it is more significant than the usual "chatter" intercepted from likely terrorists that has prompted warnings in the past.

I told you about a joint U.S./Israeli effort to create an anti-missile defense
system a few years back. Thursday, Israel successfully intercepted an
incoming ballistic missile. The system is called the Arrow ABM system and
is believed to be 95% accurate. This gives Israel a major advantage in
anti-missile technology. It's also a major step toward protecting Israel
from a nuclear threat by it's neighbors.
In the wake of their recent successes, Israel
has made it clear that they will not allow Iran to become a nuclear power.
If you remember, Israel attacked and destroyed Iraq's nuclear reactor (1982) a
number of years back and there is talk that Iran's reactor could be next.
Of course, the Bible does say that Iran will
be a part of the Russian-Arab alliance, which will attack Israel in the last
days (Ezekiel 38 & 39). Initially, I didn't feel the Bible supported
an attack by Israel on Iran's nuclear site since it might start a war, but I
wouldn't rule it out. Iran isn't militarily ready to attack Israel at this
point in time just as Iraq wasn't back in 1982. I can guarantee you that
if at any point in time they would have been it would have happened by now.
They know the power Israel possesses and it's has nothing to do with the U.S.
They are said to be the fifth most powerful country in the world.
