Arafat’s Death Creates A Window: Players Must Act Quickly
WASHINGTON — Yasser Arafat’s death opens a window of opportunity. The Palestinian leader who loomed so large for so many years — and who had recently been rejected as a partner by Israel and the United States — is gone, just as Israel is preparing to withdraw unilaterally from Gaza. The question is whether all sides can now come together to seize this opportunity.

Read the top article regarding the Middle East window of opportunity.  There is definitely a feeling of urgency in the air.  Many feel that this maybe the last chance.

I have a strange feeling about this opportunity.  I do feel that this maybe the time and place where it's going to get done.  I definitely believe this is the peace agreement the Bible says will be confirmed by the antichrist (Daniel 9:27) and it won't just be with Israel.  There will be many others who will sit down at the table and agree to peace, but they will break that peace shortly after.

As you know, anything can happen and peace can be delayed as it has been so many times, but I believe this time it will be different.  I am convinced that God used Yasser Arafat as a tool to form the peace agreement and to delay it for this day and time.

Obviously, I'm not a prophet, and certainly, I don't know what the future holds outside the written Word of God.  Just yesterday I announced that Hamas was ready to agree to a truce with Israel.  Today it's business as usual with threats of death to Israel.  But not to worry, when the real peace agreement comes they will fall in line or be dismembered by their own people.   If you haven't figured it out by now Hamas is supported and funded by the Arab world.  For the sake of temporary peace they will play along.

Egypt is sending their ambassador back to Israel.  They even participated in a prisoner swap with Israel this weekend.

Tony Blair is heading to Pakistan to talk about terrorism and Middle East peace.

The Palestinians have asked the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to monitor their upcoming elections in January.  They will receive their dream of statehood soon.

Prime Minister Sharon is pulling out of Gaza despite what his government partners think.

Are you ready to meet the Lord?  If not your time is running out!
