The walkout signaled that moderates like Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak were prevailing at the summit, called amid Arab outrage at the killings of scores of Palestinians in clashes with Israeli security forces. Earlier Saturday, Mubarak blamed Israel for bringing the peace process to a standstill but said Arabs would not abandon the path of negotiations. (CBS News) As tensions mount at the Arab Summit, many are wondering what will happen next. Peace is not out of range, but it will take a miracle from God to make it happen. When I say miracle, I really mean direction. God is in control of this situation and is directing this summit to follow the path that He will decide. As a prophetic speculator, I believe that the world is seeing the Israelis as a bully that is beating up on the Palestinians, who incidentally, have a number of older brothers. In my opinion, I really believe that the Arab world would strike today if they felt that the U.S. would stay out of it. This is where Russia comes in. With an ex-world power on their side, I really believe that the U.S. would balk at a confrontation. After all, we're just in it to keep the peace. War is out of the question, especially in an election year. But let's face it, Clinton or Gore (Bush maybe) don't have the guts to stand down the Russian's. They don't understand the concept of what being an ally entails. I have no doubt, that if war breaks out in the Middle East, the U.S. will sit back and wash their hands of the entire situation. Look for two things to come out of the Arab Summit. One, a deeper hatred toward Israel worldwide. Two, continued violence in the Middle East that I believe will lead to an Arab/Israeli war. Of course, knowing that God is in control, it could be that the time is right to allow satan to usher in the antichrist just before war is declared. This is always a possibility, although, I believe that war is inevitable and just around the corner. What will really happen remains to be seen. Many twists and turns have taken place over the last few weeks. Just a week or two ago, I felt peace was in the air. Eventually it will be, and someday soon we will see it come to pass just as the Bible has predicted. It took a miracle to bring Jews back to their sacred land, which previously they had not controlled for over 2500 years. Under extreme pressure and violence, God has raised up a powerful nation in Israel. As the generation that has seen Israel's rebirth comes to a close, I see the next step on the brink of reality. Can this all be a tremendous coincidence? You'd better get ready! Pastor Malone
