these elections? Do you think Marshall Law could be a possibility with
all confusion and if so, would young men be drafted in to contain
order? One pastor this Sunday (today) preached about Daniel 9:4+ with
be set if a president isn't set in place ASAP; he preached disaster is
truly here. Your thoughts? Jeff Jeff I don't share those feelings that a presidential election could cause wide
scale chaos. Marshall law will not have to be imposed. I really don't believe there are any prophetic implications from this election. I do believe that whoever is elected president will be
the president that will lead the U.S. into the tribulation period. Of course,
that is just a feeling and not from the Lord. If Gore wins, I believe, the country will go into a deeper immoral hole. Homosexuality will become a true alternate lifestyle embraced by both parties. The Republican Party will drop the pro life platform and gay rights will not be an issue. They will sound more like a Democrat then a Democrat. Many don't feel that these are issues that should be a part of the political process. Of course, they would have to throw out all world history to make that claim. The church has always acted as a moral compass for the rulers of our great nation and was founded on the principles of the Bible. Either way, it's not going to hinder what must soon come to pass. But I will make a prediction. Whoever ends up in the White House (it looks like it will be Bush) will inherit a house divided and nothing will be accomplished in his four year stay. The loser will run again in 2004 and will unseat the winner of the 2000 election. Whoever it is, it will all be in God's great plan. Pastor Malone
