Iran
is only three months away from the point of no return in terms of its capacity
to manufacture a nuclear bomb. This certainly doesn't bode well for a
peaceful resolution. As stated in my last article, the Israeli military is
openly discussing a possible air strike against Iran and has been told to ready
itself. Of course, this could just be a scare tactic to make Iran blink
first, but I wouldn't count on it.
In a meeting with a senior Hamas member, former Iranian President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani said that Israel's days were numbered. He further stated that his country would support the Palestinian resistance until Israel was forced out of the land.
I do look for an attack to take place if Iran does not back down. I don't think it will be the attack of Ezekiel 38 & 39, although, at some point it will lead to it, but I believe that war is future.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has called Russia the most reliable partner and defender of the Islamic world. If that doesn't set the stage I don't know what will. Although, I don't believe Russia is ready to lead an attack against Israel at this time...I could be wrong. There are still a couple of things I believe must be fulfilled. Israel still doesn't live in safely in their land (Ezekiel 38:11) nor do they have a spoil (Ezekiel 38:12) I feel Russia would be willing to go to war over...at least not yet!
Recently, I have been hearing Bible teachers refer to the young lions of Ezekiel 38:13 as a direct reference to the United States, U.K., and Australia. Apparently, when this attack begins they will question Russia regarding the reason behind their attack. There is no reference as to whether any of the three will come to Israel's aid. It's generally believed that they will not, but in the end, God will deliver them by His mighty hand.
Take a look at PA Farmers In Gaza: How Do Those Israelis Do It? Apparently, when Israel first took over Gaza it was considered a cursed land. In fact, the Palestinians told the Israelis they would never be able to grow anything on that land since they never could.
But some thirty plus years later it has become one of the most fertile lands in Israel. At least it was! According to Palestinian farmers who have taken over the land since the withdrawal they believe it's gone back to being cursed again. It seems that they can't keep the bugs from infesting their crops.
Could it be that God has taken His hand of blessing off of this land (for the time being) until it is returned back to Israel?
