Iran
Issues Stark Warning On Oil Price
Iran stepped up its defiance of international pressure over its nuclear
programme yesterday by warning of soaring oil prices if it is subjected to
economic sanctions. As diplomats from the US, Europe, Russia, and China prepared
to meet today in London to discuss referring Tehran to the UN security council,
Iran's economy minister, Davoud Danesh-Jafari, said the country's position as
the world's fourth-largest oil producer meant such action would have grave
consequences.
Saudi Urges
Iran To Forego Nuclear Weapons, Avoid Arms Race
LONDON - Saudi Arabia appealed Monday for Iran to abide by
its promise not to develop nuclear weapons and spark a regional arms race, but
said the West bore some responsibility by letting Israel build its own nuclear
arsenal.
Israel has never confirmed or denied having atomic bombs,
maintaining a policy of ambiguity.

Security Council Members Agree On Iran
LONDON - Russia and China agreed with the United States and its European allies
Monday that Iran must fully suspend its nuclear program, but the countries
stopped short of demanding referral to the U.N. Security Council, Britain's
Foreign Office said.
In a conciliatory statement, Iran's ambassador to Moscow praised a Russian
proposal to move the Iranian uranium enrichment program to its territory — a
step that could resolve the deadlock over Tehran's nuclear ambitions.

Journey Towards Centre Of The Earth To Seek Out Origins Of Life
THE world’s most technologically advanced
exploration ship sails today on a mission that may reveal the origin of life on
Earth.
The Japanese ship Chikyu intends to drill seven kilometres (4.3 miles)
below the sea bed — more than three times deeper than has been done before. It
will then raise to the surface a cylinder 1.5m (5ft) long and 15cm wide which
could contain science’s first glimpse of a “living” sample of the
Earth’s mantle.

Assembles 5,000 Centrifuges For Nukes
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Iran was said to have built more than 5,000 gas centrifuges
for its nuclear weapons program.
Iranian opposition sources said Teheran built the centrifuges for its nuclear
plant at Natanz without the knowledge of the International Atomic Energy Agency
and European Union. Natanz has been the leading facility for the enrichment of
uranium, a key element in the process to produce nuclear weapons.

Family members of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon claim that he
has opened his eyes a couple of times, but hospital officials say it's not true.
It's unfortunate, but it looks unlikely that Mr. Sharon will wake up. He
is the last of the original great warriors who fought for the birth of Israel.
With that said, the generation that brought Israel into existence is about ready
to pass. This brings to mind Matthew 24:32-34 which speaks of the last
generation. Is this the last generation? Here's what the passage
says:
"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when his branch is yet tender, and
putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall
see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto
you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."
Some interpret this scripture to say that when we begin to see all the things
described in Matthew 24 (signs of the upcoming tribulation period) come to pass
that that generation that sees it will not pass. Many believe we are in
the beginning stages of that last generation. I would like to believe that
generation started back in 1948. Either way, we are certainly in the last
of the last days.
Recently we have seen record rainfall in the Western United States and record
snowfall in the Far East (Japan). You can't pick up a newspaper without
reading about another 6+ magnitude earthquake happening virtually everywhere.
Is it my imagination or are we experiencing an increase in very dangerous global
weather.
Israel is evacuating all Jewish settlers from select areas of the West Bank.
Many, including myself, believe this is just the beginning of a large-scale
evacuation from the area. With Israel deciding to allow Arab residents of
Jerusalem to vote in the upcoming Palestinian elections I have to believe that
the push is on to create a Palestinian state in the very near future. Of
course, that could all change if Benjamin Netanyahu is elected Prime Minister in
March 2006. With the U.S. endorsing Interim Prime Minister Olmert as the
new Israeli Prime Minister I have to believe Mr. Netanyahu has very little
chance. Polls have also indicated that the majority of Israelis favor land
for peace
The fight to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons is starting to heat
up to dangerous levels. Both the U.S. and the E.U. are putting pressure on
the remaining permanent U.N. members to vote in favor of sanctions. Iran's
response was that any economic sanctions would be met with soaring gas prices.
This is a problem that must be dealt with but in doing so could be
detrimental to the U.S. and world economies. It's hard to say how this
will turn out. I fully believe that both sides are serious, but if
sanctions are instituted and fail, Israel will not hesitate to bomb Iranian
nuclear sites. The question is how strong, if any, will Iran's response
be? We may know the answer by April. These are definitely dangerous times.
The Polish ruling party believes that the E.U. constitution is dead and has
told rotating E.U. President Wolfgang Schüssel (Austria) to stop wasting time
on dead issues. I can't see the constitution being revived before the
rapture of the church and maybe not even after. Since the collapse of the
constitution I have favored more of a two-speed constitution which will grant
full membership to those who are ready to meet its commitments. Those who
are not ready will still have membership but won't receive full membership until
they have come into compliance with the constitution.
I still believe the E.U. will get their constitution ratified and will elect
a permanent president. As I said, it might not happen until after the
rapture. We have to keep in mind that the tribulation period probably
won't start right away. There maybe years between the rapture and the
start of the tribulation period, but when Christians are taken, look for a
dramatic change to take place. The antichrist will then surface and be
elected president of the European Union. He will make peace with Israel
(and other countries) for seven-years and will break that peace at the midway
point. Then will come tribulation the likes of which no man has seen.
Are you ready to meet the Lord? If not your time is running out!
