Iran Could Achieve Nuke Capability In 2006A report published by the U.S. Army War College asserted that Iran has virtually completed the nuclear fuel cycle and was ready to assemble weapons. The report, financed by the Defense Department, said Iran could reach nuclear weapons capability as early as 2006.
"The truth is that Iran soon can and will get a bomb option," the report, entitled "Getting Ready for a Nuclear-Ready Iran," said. "All Iranian engineers need is a bit more time: 1 to 4 years at most."

A study conducted by the U.S. Army War College
on how advanced Iran is in its quest to produce nuclear weapons states that they
could produce nuclear bombs by as early as 2006.

I'm not sure what kind of impact this study will have on the U.S. or the international community, but I do see Israel taking a definite stand in the near future if this information proves to be credible.
This may just be another example of what the Bible has predicted for the last days as a time of "wars and rumors of wars" (Matthew 24:6), but certainly, it's an international crisis that needs to be solved.
One option that we haven't discussed yet is the possibility that this could be setting the stage for the antichrist to come on the scene and solve this problem. Of course, I certainly don't believe satan knows when the rapture will occur, but once the rapture takes place, he will bring his man on the scene very quickly and solve this volatile situation.
Something that should be pointed out is that satan may pick the antichrist but he has been God ordained since before the world was formed. Just as Judas was selected by Jesus to be His disciple knowing that he would ultimately betray Him, so to has the antichrist been set aside for such an hour. satan possesses no surprises that God hasn't already put in his mind.
If this turns out to be the scenario, I look for the soon rapture of the church followed by the emergence of a man to solve the Iranian nuclear crisis. Then he will follow this up by solving a host of other international problems including getting the E.U. Constitution ratified by all member states and becoming their first elected president. At some point he will tackle and solve the biggest problem in the world the question of Israel. He will do the unthinkable by bringing peace to the Middle East and giving Israel worldwide acceptance even amongst Arab nations. He will also finalize a plan to give Palestinians a state with East Jerusalem as their capital and secure the go ahead for Israel to rebuild their temple. The peace plan will be for seven years and start what we know as the tribulation period. He will look like a savior and the world will enjoy peace and prosperity for a season.
Of course, this is all speculation and certainly I don't know the future anymore than you do. I do know this, whatever the Bible has written it will surely come to past. We'll just have to wait and see how God sorts it out and than brings it together.
Are you ready to meet the Lord? If not, your time is running out!
