Plans To Resume Uranium Enrichment
TEHRAN, Iran - Iran's
president Saturday ordered the resumption of uranium enrichment and an end to
snap inspections of its facilities after the U.N. nuclear watchdog voted to
report Tehran to the Security Council.
"As of Sunday, the voluntary implementation of the additional protocol and other cooperation beyond the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty has to be suspended under the law," President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in a letter addressed to Vice President Gholamreza Aghazadeh.
IAEA
Reports Iran To U.N. Security Council
VIENNA, Austria - The U.N. nuclear watchdog Saturday reported Iran
to the U.N.
Security Council in a resolution expressing concern that Tehran's
nuclear program may not be "exclusively for peaceful purposes." Iran
retaliated immediately, saying it would resume uranium enrichment at its main
plant instead of in Russia.
The landmark decision by the International Atomic Energy Agency's 35-nation board sets the stage for future action by the top U.N. body, which has the authority to impose economic and political sanctions.

Tehran Launched Secret Rocket Test In January...
IRAN secretly tested a new surface-to-surface missile
(SSM) on January 17, seeking to establish the measurements needed for long-range
missiles, the German daily Die Welt reported in its issue to appear
today.
The test, conducted by members of the Revolutionary Guard led by Yahya Rahim
Safavi, was successful, according to Western diplomats cited by the newspaper,
which did not indicate the location where the test took place.
On January 28, Safavi said that Iran would use its ballistic missiles if it was attacked.
"Iran has a ballistic missile with a range of 2,000 kilometres," he said on Iranian public television.
"We do not intend to attack any country, but if we are attacked, we are capable of effectively responding. Our position is defensive."
GERMANY'S
MERKEL LIKENS THREAT TO NAZI ERA...
MUNICH, Germany (Reuters) - German Chancellor Angela Merkel likened Iran's
nuclear plans on Saturday to the threat posed by the Nazis in their early days,
as top U.S. officials urged a tough line to stop Tehran from making an atomic
bomb.
U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld accused the Islamic republic of being the world's leading sponsor of terrorism, a charge his Iranian counterpart rejected as "ridiculous" and "outrageous".
Addressing the annual Munich security conference, Merkel said countries around the world had underestimated the Nazi threat as Adolf Hitler rose to power.

The
Mark Of The Beast
The federal government is launching a National
Animal Identification System that will, by 2009, require that every
agricultural animal in the nation be equipped with an identification device
through which its movement can be traced from birth to slaughter. At the moment,
the program is voluntary; by 2009, non-compliance can result in fines of up to
$1,000 per day.
Implementation is coming fast. By April, 2006, 25 percent of all "premises" (any location where animals are kept) are to be registered with the government. By July, an Interstate Certificate of Veterinary Inspection system is to be in place in every state. By January 2008, all premises and all animals are to be registered. By July, 2008, the movement of all animals will be tracked. In January, 2009, the program becomes mandatory.

King Urges Unity Among Religions On Terrorism
WASHINGTON (BP)--King Abdullah II of Jordan, speaking at a Feb. 2 gathering

China
Leaps Forward - The People's Republic Is Embarking On The World's Biggest
Nuclear Building Spree
Even if the nuclear strategy is a runaway success, it won't come close to
solving China's energy problems. Demand far surpasses supply—in large part
because Chinese companies are notoriously inefficient energy consumers. China is
quickly running out of raw materials, such as coal, while demand for electricity
has seen double-digit growth for more than three years. Renewable-energy sources
won't come close to meeting China's needs. But that only fuels the urgency
Chinese officials express when discussing the nuclear boom. "We need every
type of energy," says Zhang Zuoyi, head of the institute that helps run the
pebblebed test reactor. "We are hungry." China's leaders won't listen
to naysayers. They can't afford to.
Comments
Hamas is still sticking to their guns despite pressure from the international
community. They refuse to recognize Israel as a nation. They have
also put the world on notice that they don't need their aid…they're doing just
fine.
Of course, terrorist group Hamas is doing just fine, but what about the Palestinian people who elected them. They on the other hand depend heavily on the one billion plus dollars that pour into Palestinian coffers each year. If I weren't a strong believer in Bible prophecy I would tend to say this has turned out to be a grave mess, but as we know, God has a plan and is headed in a direction that will ultimately lead to His purpose.
Either the Lord will change the direction or He will bring about a man that will accomplish this task. Short of saying the antichrist will come on the scene and change the mind of Hamas and Iran that certainly could happen.
One thing we must remember, the antichrist will be ordained of God to do His purpose even though he will be directed by satan. The world will be at his fingertips and no one will be able to say no to him that does not possess the Spirit of God. Simply put, he will be unstoppable.
I have had non-Christians write me in the past declaring that they were well versed in Bible prophecy, and even if they were left behind, they would be able to identify and escape the deceptions of the antichrist.
Unfortunately, the Bible tells a different story. Take a look at II Thessalonians 2:8-12:
"And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
When the antichrist does come on the scene, he will change the world very quickly and the world will wander after him (Revelation 13:3). It's possible, though not stated, he may already have a god like persona (not before the start of the tribulation) even before he declares himself to be God. He will be a man unlike any man in history.
Switching to Iran, the IAEA has voted to refer Iran to the U.N. Security Council for conducting a nuclear program that may not be "exclusively for peaceful purposes." In response, Iran has ordered the resumption of uranium enrichment and the end of unannounced U.N. inspections.
This is a major event and unless something drastic happens in the next few months, Israel, the U.S. or both will likely attack Iranian nuclear sites. I look for Israel to respond before their elections in late March if this matter is not resolved.
A recent U.S. intelligence report claims that Iran doesn't have the materials necessary to build a nuclear device. In testimony before the Senate Select Intelligence Committee, National Intelligence director John Negroponte said he did not believe that Iran had the necessary components to create nuclear weapons.
"We judge that Teheran probably does not yet have a nuclear weapon and probably has not yet produced or acquired the necessary fissile material". http://www.menewsline.com/stories/2006/february/02_05_1.html
Of course, he did use the word "probably" so that leaves lots of room for doubt. I hope Mr. Negroponte is correct but Iran's recent secret test of a new surface-to-surface missile with a range of 2,000 kilometers might prove otherwise. They claim it is for defensive purposes just as their nuclear program is for peaceful means.
One of my readers sent me an article entitled "The Mark Of The Beast". I must say that it is a very interesting article. If you haven't read the opening paragraphs to this article this is what it says:
"The federal government is launching a National Animal Identification System that will, by 2009, require that every agricultural animal in the nation be equipped with an identification device through which its movement can be traced from birth to slaughter. At the moment, the program is voluntary; by 2009, non-compliance can result in fines of up to $1,000 per day.
In January, 2009, the program becomes mandatory." http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=48237
This identification system and its requirements come remarkably close to what Bible prophecy scholars have predicted would one day surface as the “mark of the beast” system of the antichrist (Revelation 13:14-18). Of course, when the antichrist comes into power and declares himself to be God he won't be taking any opinion polls. He will be the sole ruler and refusal to adhere will mean death. But it's still very interesting in light of these last days.
Here’s something I find very interesting. Jordan's King Abdullah II is calling for Christians, Jews and Muslims to "unite around common values and to consider Islamic terrorism as an “attack upon civilization” instead of a “clash of civilizations.”
Addressing the yearly meeting of the National Prayer Breakfast, this is what King Abdullah told the 3,000 mostly evangelical Christians in attendance:
“In every generation, people of faith are tested,” the king said. “In our generation, the greatest challenge comes from violent extremists who seek to divide and conquer. Extremism is a political movement, under religious cover. Its adherents want nothing more than to pit us against each other, denying all that we have in common.”
Among the values the three religions share are a belief in one God and in the
“Abrahamic scriptures,” as well as the commandments to love God and
neighbor, he said." http://www.bpnews.net/bpnews.asp?ID=22585
Here’s another world leader calling for a one world religion. When
Christians are raptured, look for this movement to kick into high gear.
China is embarking on one of the most dramatic nuclear power projects in recent history. The reason, their energy demand is increasing by over twenty percent per year. They can't seem to keep up! Apparently, most of their manufacturing facilities are very energy inefficient and China is quickly running out of renewable energy sources. "We need every type of energy," says Zhang Zuoyi, head of the institute that helps run the pebblebed test reactor. "We are hungry." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11080908/site/newsweek/
This could be one of the reasons that the kings of the East will march toward the West killing all in their path (Revelation 9:14-19). I certainly wouldn’t rule it out.
I just want to thank those who have recently picked up a copy of my book. After you have finished reading it, I would encourage you to pass it on to a relative or friend who does not know the Lord. This maybe the instrument God uses to bring them to the Lord.
Here’s what a reader of my website recently said about my book:
Hi, I finally ordered & read your book, something I had been meaning to do for a while~ and I am very glad I did. It was an excellent and interesting read and gave me a clearer picture of the book of Revelation than I have ever had. One thing I would like to compliment you on is yourAre you ready to meet the Lord? If not, your time is running out!
