Will
Bible Lead To Oil Reserve Under Israel?
Brown said the company, as well as
independent contractors, conducted seismic and geologic studies that found the
drill area contains signs of hydrocarbons evidencing likely oil and rock
intervals deep in the ground conducive to petroleum storage.
The company also says studies indicate a large structural feature perhaps 5,000-10,000 feet deeper than the current drilling zone may contain a formation that has enough oil to make Israel a world-class producer.
"You have these Arab states that threaten boycotts and throw their oil weight around to get countries to pressure Israel," he said. "Imagine if Israel becomes a huge oil producer. There will be no more placating anyone since they have the oil."

Hamas took
control of the PA today refusing a plea from President Mahmoud Abbas
to maintain deals already in place with Israel.
In my opinion, Israel should come right out and ask Hamas if they come in
peace or as terrorists. If they
still refuse to recognize Israel and continue the same old “occupation”
rhetoric I’d consider that language as an act of war. I know it isn’t that easy but you can’t have a sworn
enemy living next door declaring their only reason for living is to destroy
Israel and to “drink the blood of Jews”.
I’m sure to many prophecy
watchers, Hamas’ rise to power seems quite puzzling, but to me it’s par for
the course. Let me explain! Over the last five plus years we have seen the prospects of
peace go on a very steep roller coaster ride.
The Second Palestinian
Intifada, which started in September of 2000, began our deep descend.
But in the last year and a half, several promising developments have
occurred that led many to believe peace was around the corner.
The buzz really began when
PA leader Yasser Arafat died suddenly back in November of 2004.
Leaders around the world hailed this as an opportunity for Middle East
peace that they must not squander.
Everything looked to be
heading for peace when Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon ordered the total
Jewish evacuation of Gaza. He also
put out leaks regarding future evacuations from the West Bank and East Jerusalem
to see how the Israeli public would respond.
Of course, he denied this would ever happen as long as he was in power,
but the truth is, if the response wasn’t all that negative, that was going to
be his next move.
But another setback occurred
in earlier 2006 just before Israeli elections.
Sharon suffered a massive stroke and there seemed to be little hope that
he would recover. This looked to
derail all the hard work the quartet, Israel, and the PA had done to this point. Israel desperately needed a strong leader to step into the
shoes of Ariel Sharon if the peace process was to stay on track.
Enter Vice Prime Minister
Ehud Olmert. When Sharon suffered
his stroke, it was apparent he would not be returning to public office.
Ehud Olmert immediately took power as acting prime minister.
This was seen as a major blow both to the peace process and to Kadima’s
chances of winning the upcoming elections.
But Olmert proved to be a formable leader who was committed to the peace
process picking up where Sharon left off.
In fact, during his short
time as acting prime minister, he has begun a major evacuation of the West Bank
(with many more to follow) and permitted Arab residents of East Jerusalem to
vote in the January Palestinian elections.
Even the Israeli polls have him as a runaway winner in the upcoming March
2006 elections. Everything looked
to be heading in the right direction again.
But just when you thought
things were moving forward another unexpected twist entered into the peace
process. Terrorist group Hamas
shocked the world by smashing the competition (Fatah) in the Palestinian
elections. Which brings us to the
events that took place earlier today.
In the news articles above,
you will also find a story on Zion Oil’s quest to find oil in the land of
Israel. I won’t go into the
details of what they are doing, but they believe a significant oil discovery is
around the corner.
This is what Aaron Klein, a
writer for Worldnetdaily.com, reported:
Geologists told Zion Oil the Jurassic area beneath the drilling site consisted of closely packed limestone that was not porous enough to store vast sums of oil.
So Zion, backed by cash from private Jewish and Christian investors, set up shop and dug past the Jurassic zone, drilling to about 15,000 feet to the deep Triassic layers, where tests indicate nine rock intervals may contain oil.
Brown said the company, as well as independent contractors, conducted seismic and geologic studies that found the drill area contains signs of hydrocarbons evidencing likely oil and rock intervals deep in the ground conducive to petroleum storage.
The company also says studies indicate a large structural feature perhaps 5,000-10,000 feet deeper than the current drilling zone may contain a formation that has enough oil to make Israel a world-class producer. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=48881
I truly believe Israel is going to become a world-class oil producer before it’s all said and done. The find will be so significant that I believe Russia will not be able to resist taking a spoil (Ezekiel 38:12). On top of that, Russia will also surprise their Arab allies by suggesting they lead an all out attack on Israel. Of course, the Arab world will jump at this opportunity. With Russia in the mix Israel’s allies will question the attack (Ezekiel 38:13) but probably won’t get involved.
Many believe this attack will take place during the tribulation period under the watchful eye of the antichrist. He may attempt to come to Israel’s aid but God will bring about a miraculous victory for the entire world will see.
Getting back to Israel’s discovery of this major reserve. I believe it will be so large they will rival the world leaders in oil production possibly freeing the stranglehold the Arabs and Russians have had on the world for so long.
I’m not an oil expert so I don’t know how long it would take to go from discovery to refinement to the pump. Surely, one of my readers may know the answer to this question, but I assume they will receive a tremendous amount of help from those who stand to gain the most (U.S. & E.U.).
I said all this to bring you to this point. God knows exactly what He is doing. Many call the rise of Hamas a setback but it was all in the plan of God. Knowing that God is in complete control it almost makes me want to laugh when I see the peace plan go from great expectations to a dangerous free fall.
In conclusion, when His time is right, not ours, He will call us home and not until. The big picture is still very bright and clear…it’s the intricacies of the plan that seem to throw us off.
Are you ready to meet
the Lord? If not, your time is running out!
