Learn what will happen during the tribulation period from beginning to end

With little world support for the bombing of Iraq, it looks likely that the U.S. and Great Britain are alone in their quest to keep Saddam Hussein in check. I don't see U.N. weapons inspectors coming into Baghdad ever again. This is a dangerous time and I see a number of possible scenarios developing. One, the U.S. and Great Britain could be in a full all out war with the Arab nations before summer. Without weapon inspectors, no one really knows where Iraq or any of the other Arab nations are at in the production of weapons of mass destruction. Although I am sure U.S. intelligence has a good idea, they do not know to what extent or how powerful these weapons may be. It is my belief that the Arab world now has the ability to reach the shores of the U.S. with nuclear weapons. I do not believe that this war will just be another routine Gulf War. Obviously, Saddam cannot win a conventional air and ground war. As U.S. and the allies bomb Iraqi cities with little resistance, this may be the straw that snaps him into pushing the nuclear button we have all feared. Millions could die on both sides. Another possibility to this scenario is that the U.S. and Britain could continue to bomb Iraq until other Arab nations come to the rescue. With the present cohesiveness of the Arab world I see this as a strong likelihood. The U.S. and Britain will find themselves in all out war because they want to play world cop. Fearing the threat of another Vietnam, I believe that President Bush will be forced to back down and leave the area for good. With the U.S. and Britain in retreat, the Arabs will turn their attention to Israel. Which leads to possibility number two. Two, with a new hard line Israeli Prime Minister in place (with the support of the people I might add), I am convinced that the Arab world feels that the Middle East peace process has run its course, and that war is inevitable. Just this week Saddam Hussein declared his desire to liberate Palestine from Israel. Egypt is very close to defecting from U.S. ally to Arab brother. The rest of the Arab states are getting restless and poised for a major offensive. It is my belief that the latest bombings has united the Arab nations tighter then ever. It's no longer a matter of principle, but has become a holy war in the truest sense. One option that has not been explored is Russia. If war breaks out they may have to choose sides. They already have a strong alliance with Iran and several other Arab nations, which could serve to persuade the U.S. to stay out of a Middle East conflict, especially if Russia is involved. It's hard to say which way these latest developments will lead. But one thing is for sure, God is in control and nothing can happen outside of divine will. Pastor Malone
