New
Poll Shows Kadima Continues To Slide
A new public opinion poll published on the website of
the Ma’ariv newspaper a week before the March 28 general election shows the
Kadima party gradually losing support.
Bibi: Hamas
A Malignant Tumor
Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that "there are those who
say Hamas does not constitute a strategic threat, but anyone who is familiar
with a little history and a little of the present time understands that this is
a huge risk, a malignant tumor that is
spreading, and as such it must be uprooted."
Jerusalem

police on Tuesday went on a heightened state of alert, police said.
Police set up spot checkpoints throughout the city and were inspecting suspicious vehicles and persons in an effort to ward off an attack.

Admits: I Haven't Considered Apocalypse - Asked About Bible Prophecy In Light Of
Global Conflict
"Here's how I think of it. The first I've heard of that,
by the way. I guess I'm more of a practical fellow. I vowed after September the
11th, that I would do everything I could to protect the American people. And my
attitude, of course, was affected by the attacks. I knew we were at war. I knew
that the enemy, obviously, had to be sophisticated and lethal to fly hijacked
airplanes into facilities that would be killing thousands of people, innocent
people, doing nothing, just sitting there going to work.
Blair
Wants Battle Of Ideas With Terrorists
LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister
Tony Blair on Tuesday will call for a global, interventionist approach to
confront terrorism head on and win a battle over values and ideas.
"This is not a clash between civilizations, it is
a clash about civilization," Blair will say in a speech this afternoon,
according to extracts released by his official spokesman.
"'We' is not the West. 'We' are as much Muslim as Christian or Jew or
Hindu. 'We' are those who believe in religious tolerance, openness to others, to
democracy, liberty and human rights administered by secular courts," he
will say.

Calls For International Supervision Of The Temple Mount In Jerusalem
According to a recently released study carried out by a
Jerusalem think tank, Israelis and Palestinians should allow the international
community to supervise Jerusalem's Temple Mount and the city's other holy sites.

Leader: 'Praise Allah Bird Flu' Just Beginning Of Plagues To Hit Israel
The bird-flu virus found in Israel last week was sent by Allah to punish the
Jews for being "the worst of humanity" and is the beginning of the
outbreak of other diseases meant to destroy the Jewish state within the next
twenty years, a Gaza preacher said at mosque services this weekend.
Most
Israelis Support J'lem Concessions
A recent study shows that 63 percent of Israelis are willing to make
concessions on the borders of Jerusalem in exchange for "real peace"
with the Palestinians. Of them, 54% are willing to relinquish Arab neighborhoods
in East Jerusalem, but not in the Old City, the Jewish Quarter or the Western
Wall, according to the study by the Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies.
Seventy-five percent of those who said they would be willing to make concessions for peace admitted they did not believe that real peace with the Palestinians was a possibility.
Comments
A new Israeli public opinion poll was
published today on the website of
the Ma’ariv newspaper. It showed a surprising decline of support for the
Kadima party...which is right in line with other recent polls.
I don't believe that Kadima will lose the March 28th elections but it does open the door for Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu who is working hard striking fear in the minds of Israeli voters that Acting Prime Minister Olmert will divide Jerusalem and give back the West Bank. If Olmert wins expect that to happen, especially since a recent study indicated that most Israelis are willing to make these concessions. The study by the Jerusalem Institute For Israel Studies showed that "63 percent of Israelis are willing to make concessions on the borders of Jerusalem in exchange for "real peace" with the Palestinians. Of them, 54% are willing to relinquish Arab neighborhoods in East Jerusalem, but not in the Old City, the Jewish Quarter or the Western Wall". http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1139395649852&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull
Netanyahu has come out blasting Hamas calling them a 'malignant tumor' that is spreading out of control and a very dangerous threat to the state of Israel. He's correct but the citizens of Israel are fed up with terrorism and feel there would be no hope of peace if Netanyahu were elected. It's also possible that the pollsters and studies are wrong...look what happened at the Palestinian elections!
A word about bird flu and where it is going. I've had more than a few readers ask my opinion. This is what I believe. The H5N1 strain of bird flu is a very serious virus that has the potential to kill tens of millions of people worldwide. It wouldn't surprise me if this is one of the pestilences or diseases that will play a major part in killing one-quarter of the world's population during the first great war of the tribulation period (Revelation 6:3-8). Even now scientists and health officials around the world are scared to death that it's going to mutate into a strain that can be transmitted from human to human that has no known vaccine. It's predicted to be in the U.S. (Alaska by way of Russia) by late-summer 2006.
A Gaza preacher is saying that the bird flu outbreak in Israel has come by the hand of Allah because they are "the worst of humanity". He also predicts that this outbreak is only the beginning of a whole host of plagues that will eventually wipe out the Jewish state within the next twenty years.
I don't know if you are aware of this but the Arab Bible (Koran) also has an end time scenario...and they believe they're in the last days as well. Of course, they believe they will be victorious, and Israel or anyone who opposes Islam, will be destroyed. And they to are awaiting their Messiah who they believe is due on the scene at any moment. In many ways, their version of the end times mirrors what the Bible says. You should also know that the Koran was written around 750 AD.
A study by a Jerusalem think tank is calling for the international community to supervise and take charge of the temple mount and other holy sites within the city. Certainly, if this study were to be adopted it would fall in line with Bible prophecy. But it's more likely that after the great defeat of the Russian-Arab Coalition Israel will seize complete control of the temple mount, tear down the Mosque of Umar, and rebuild their temple. As I said earlier this week this crushing defeat will literally shock the world.
British Prime Minister Tony Blair will call for a global interventionist approach to confront terrorism in a more diplomatic way. This is just another way of saying he wants the international community to bargain with terrorists. I think he's crazy but if it works he'll look like a genius. Getting them to sit down at a formal table will be the biggest task. Unless he's the antichrist he will fail miserably.
President Bush is still talking tough in regards to Iran's nuclear program and they're (Iran) not backing down...at least not yet. I hope that it doesn't come down to bombing Iran, but if necessary, it has to be done. If this is going to happen I look for this operation to commence no later than mid-summer of this year. Whether it will play a major role in prophecy is yet to be seen.
Are you ready to meet the Lord? If not, your time is running out!
