Olmert: Orders For Tel Aviv Bombing Originated In Syria
Interim Prime Minister Ehud Olmert asserted on Friday that Syrian and Iran were behind Monday's suicide bombing in Tel Aviv that killed nine Israelis and wounded dozens.

Jewish Christian preacher Zola Levitt died today after battling cancer, according to his ministry website.

Levitt, known for the tagline, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem," had a television program seen on several Christian networks, "Zola Levitt Presents."

Not only is Osama bin Laden alive says Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir, he has nukes as well.

In an interview with Mir, bin Laden said that he had acquire nuclear weapons for "use in the great jihad against the United States."

If you remember, bin Laden has dubbed his latest operation against the U.S. 'American Hiroshima'.  Many intelligence experts have flagged August 6th as an important date on bin Laden's calendar since this is the anniversary of Hiroshima.

Despite a 25 million dollar price tag on his head bin Laden says that he travels freely in and out of Pakistan with little fear of capture.

I don't know if bin Laden has the capability of setting off a nuclear weapon in the U.S.  Actually, I doubt it, but anything can happen in these last days.  Many doubt he even has nuclear weapons!  I hope those experts are right.

Another major earthquake has struck, this time in Russia, with a magnitude between 7.7 and 7.9.  This always brings up the question of whether or not we are experiencing an increase in earthquakes worldwide.  Of course, the Bible teaches that in the last days we would experience an increase, but what do statisticians say?

Well according to the Philadelphia Inquirer the number of earthquakes that have registered a Richter magnitude of 6.0 and greater worldwide have been increasing every decade.  Records show that killer earthquakes jumped from nine in the 1950s, to 13 in the 1960s, to 51 in the 1970s, to 86 in the 1980s, and to more than 100 in the 1990s. (Gary Stearman, "Are Earthquakes on the Increase?" Prophecy in the News 16 (June 1996): pp. 3-5.)

Certainly, I'm sure I will receive emails that will discount these statistics, but that doesn't change the facts...nor will it change the future.
