Hamas-Led
Palestinian Gov't May Accept Two-State Plan Recognizing Israel
RAMALLAH, West Bank — The Hamas
militant group, facing a crippling international boycott and unable to
meet Palestinians' basic needs, is prepared to accept a plan that calls for a
Palestinian state alongside Israel,
a Hamas official said Friday — potentially a major concession implying
recognition of Israel.
However, Hamas' top leaders have not yet responded to the plan. Even if Hamas accepts a two-state solution to the Mideast conflict, it's unlikely it would be able to secure a resumption of Western aid without an implicit recognition of Israel.
Report:
Israel Will Hit Iran In Next Few Months; Fighter Bombers Won't Be Used As In 1981
Attack On Iraq's Osirak Nuclear Reactor
WASHINGTON: Israel will strike Iran’s nuclear facilities in the
next “month or two or three,” an Israeli official has been quoted here as
saying.
The unnamed official told Arnaud de Borchgrave, editor-in-chief of the United
Press International (UPI), at the recently held national day reception at the
Israeli Embassy that he believed Israel would strike Iran first in the next two
or three months and that fighter bombers would not be involved as they had been
to take out Iraq’s Osirak nuclear reactor before it went critical in 1981. For
Osirak, Israel had used 14 F-15s and F-16s. This time, the Israeli said, it
would be missiles. Asked if Israel would employ Cruise missiles, he replied,
“with a gesture of his hand that went up and down again”, which meant that
it would be the weapon of choice.
Iran
Leader Says Attack On His Country Unlikely
JAKARTA, May 12 (Reuters) - Iran's
nuclear standoff with Western powers is just "psychological
propaganda", President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Friday and dismissed the
chances of military action against his country as unlikely.
"Every country has the right to defend its right in accordance with the agreed way," he said during a meeting with Islamic scholars in the Indonesian capital Jakarta.
"But we think this issue is far from possible," he added when asked what he would do if Iran was attacked because of its nuclear programme.

Israel
To Discuss Gaza Invasion With Bush
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Prime Minister Ehud Olmert plans to present President George
Bush with a military proposal that calls for the Israeli invasion of the Gaza
Strip.
Officials said the military's General Staff has been drafting Israeli contingencies to Palestinian missile fire from the Gaza Strip for discussion in the United States over the next two weeks. They said the proposals would be presented during the visit by Olmert to Washington in late May, where he was scheduled to meet Bush and senior administration officials.
Iran

Hamas maybe ready to accept a
two-state plan that recognizes Israel. The plan was negotiated between top
Hamas and Fatah militants who are being held in an Israeli prison. Here
are the main points:
"The proposal calls for the establishment of a Palestinian state "in all the lands occupied in 1967," a reference to the West Bank, Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem.
While the draft document signals an important turning point for Hamas, it includes key Palestinian demands that Israel rejects. These include affirmation of the right of millions of Palestinian refugees to return to homes in what is now Israel and a complete withdrawal from all of the West Bank and east Jerusalem. The document also asserts that Palestinians have the right to attack Israelis in the West Bank, but that Israel itself should be off-limits for bombings and shootings.
Hamas leaders in Gaza and the West Bank have previously hinted they might abandon the group's call for the destruction of Israel, but Khaled Mashaal, the Syria-based leader of Hamas, has rejected any suggestion of moderation." http://www.foxnews.com/printer_friendly_story/0,3566,195233,00.html
This proposal has a long way to go before Israel will agree to it. As I have said before, they may come to the brink of signing a treaty but it won't get done until after the rapture. The antichrist will ultimately get the treaty signed.
An unnamed Israeli official has been quoted as saying that Israel will strike Iranian nuclear sites in the next one to three months, but it won't be done in the same manner as the 1981 attack on an Iraqi nuclear site. This time Israel will use cruise missiles.
I don't look for this attack to take place only because I don't believe the Bible supports it. Of course, I say this because I fully except Iran to retaliate and I don't believe they would do that without considerable backup. The truth is, Iran is no match for Israel no matter what they say to the press. They and the rest of the Arab world know what would happen if they were to attack. That's where Russia comes in.
The E.U. is trying to get its constitution rolling again. Finland is the latest country to vote on restarting the process. I believe the antichrist will eventually come out of the E.U. as their president. That's why I believe that it could be years before the antichrist comes on the scene. Of course, that does not hinder the rapture from happening at any moment
Yes, I do see much of the handwriting on the wall. Things are definitely starting to head in the direction of peace but it will be up to the Lord to bring it all together in His time.
Are you ready to meet the Lord? If not your time is running out!
