Another senseless suicide bombing has taken place at an Israel dance club killing 20 (mostly teens) and injuring scores more. Of course, Yasser Arafat denies that Palestine played any part in the bombing and claims that the terrorists are acting on their own.
Many leaders around the world, including the U.S., have called on Israel to show restraint and not retaliate for the sake of peace. So far Israel is taking a wait and see attitude.
Personally, I don't see Israel letting this go. Again, this was a planned attack on the young people of Israel. Many in Israel are calling for revenge and I most certainly believe that revenge will be taken not to many days from now.
As for Mr. Arafat, I have no doubt that he is ultimately behind the bombing, but may not have given the order. He absolutely has no intention of stopping them. He may have condemned the bombing but that was only for the international community, who incidentally, are as stupid as a post. His condemnation of the bombing would be about as believable as our government's condemnation of drugs without a border patrol. He could stop the terror if he wanted, but it is part of his long-range plan of scaring Israel into giving up more land and part of Jerusalem. Eventually, he will attack Israel (along with his Arab brother's) and attempt to drive them out for good.
What's my take on the situation? Israel will retaliate in due time and it will be it's most explosive attack since the cease-fire ended. Peace will not come to the land this time around, but more bloodshed, leading to a possible major war in the region. But eventually, down the road, the antichrist will step in and form an alliance with Israel, and protect them for seven years.
