THE followers of Moqtada al-Sadr believe that the US invaded Iraq to prevent the return to Earth of their sect’s messiah-like figure, the Mahdi, or 12th imam.

North Korea says that they will soon conduct their first ever nuclear test and blamed the U.S. threat and imposed sanctions as their reason for doing so.  

"The U.S. extreme threat of a nuclear war and sanctions and pressure compel the DPRK (North Korea) to conduct a nuclear test, an essential process for bolstering nuclear deterrent, as a corresponding measure for defense," the statement said.

The world has been blinded to what must come.  I heard a political strategist on Fox News say that the Bush administration was handling the war on terror all wrong.  When asked what his party would do if elected to office he said they would simply set down with the terrorist and talk.  Unfortunately, that hasn't worked and it's not going to work.  The truth is, the only way were going to defeat terrorism is to take the fight to them.  Yes, it's going to be a long and hard fight, and there will be casualties. Sadly, world public opinion will not allow that to happen. 

Does Iran and North Korea need to be subdued?  They do, but the liberals of the world will not have it...and certainly, Bible prophecy must be fulfilled.  We are at a point of no return!

What Muslim's Believe
The followers of Moqtada al-Sadr are convinced that the United States and their allies are out to destroy Islam to prevent the coming of the 12th Imam which they consider to be their messiah.  

I find it strange that they even have a messiah figure that is said to be coming at the same time Jesus will come.  But don't think that they don't believe in Jesus because they do.  Here are a few verses from the Koran and the Hadith that speak of Jesus:

5:72-73:  “Unbelievers are those that say: ‘God is the Messiah, the son of Mary.  Unbelievers are those that say: ‘God is one of three.”

5:116  "Then Allah will say: "Jesus, son of Mary, did you ever say to mankind: 'Worship me and my mother as gods beside Allah?'" "Glory to You," he will answer, "how could I say that to which I have no right? If I had ever said so, You would have surely known it. You know what is in my mind but I cannot tell what is in Yours. You alone know what is hidden. I spoke to them of nothing except what You bade me. I said: "Serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord."

"And (Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment): Therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow ye Me: this is a Straight Way." Surah 43.61

Not only do they believe that Jesus is coming back (and made note of it in the Koran) but say that he will give way to their messiah (12th Imam).  Here is generally what Muslim's believe will take place at the coming of their messiah:

Jesus Christ will decline the offer and invitation of Imam Mahdi to come and lead the Muslims in prayer, and say his prayer behind Imam Mahdi.

Jesus (peace be upon him) will come and will perform the obligatory prayers behind the Mahdi and follow him.

Yes, Muslim's do regard Jesus as a vital part of their end time reign, but He will be inferior to the 12th Imam.  He is looked on as more of a messenger or prophet who was sent to proclaim the coming of Muhammad, but certainly not the Son of God.

Jesus' main purpose in the Second Coming will be to defeat the antichrist.  Muslim's believe that He alone has been granted this duty.  

In the end Jesus will declare that Islam is the only true religion of God.

Just as shocking, Muslim's believe that all the signs point to the coming of their messiah.  But before that can happen the world must be tossed into chaos and ruled over by Dajjāl (antichrist) for seven years.
