Iran president once again says Israel's days are numberedPeretz:
Nuclear policy hasn’t changed
Israel's Defense Minister Amir
Peretz responded Tuesday to Prime Minister Ehud
Olmert's comments regarding Israel's nuclear policy by saying that
"Israel's ambiguous nuclear policy has not changed."
Calls
from left and right for Olmert to quit after nuclear "slip"
A week after the incoming US defense secretary, it was PM Ehud Olmert's turn to
dissolve the long-maintained ambiguity surrounding Israel's nuclear
capabilities. As he kicked off his European visit with a stop in Berlin, Olmert
put his foot in his mouth as he stumbled through an interview with the German
SAT1 television network. He asserted that Iran wants nuclear weapons, just like
Israel and other countries with nukes.
Experts
advise Bush not to reduce troops - President looking beyond Iraq Study Group’s
plan
President Bush heard a blunt and dismal assessment of his handling of Iraq
from a group of military experts yesterday, but the advisers shared the White
House's skeptical view of the recommendations made last week by the bipartisan
Iraq Study Group, sources said.
North
Korea Might Disarm With Incentives
South
Korea's nuclear envoy said Tuesday that North
Korea could be persuaded to disarm with strong incentives to help reverse
its economic crisis, while China called for flexibility at revived arms talks it
is hosting.
US

Within the next two years the US will fill the military emergency stockpiles in
Israel with double the equipment that is currently stored.

condemns gathering of Holocaust deniers in Iran
White House calls Iran conference "an affront to the entire civilized

Today's Article
The Rapture Of The Church: Every year since Israel became a
nation (1948) Christians worldwide should be looking for the rapture of the
church. Once again, that is at the
top of my list…in fact, we may not make it to 2007 the Lord could come today.
Gog And Magog War: If
you’re not familiar with this war it’s found in Ezekiel 38 & 39.
Prophecy foretells in the last days that Jews from all over the world
will return to Israel (v. 8) and reclaim their land.
This prophecy was fulfilled back in 1948.
The Bible says that after this re-gathering of Israel takes
place that in the last days Russia will form a league with the Islamic world and
attack Israel. This attack will end
with God miraculously destroying the Russian-Arab Alliance on the mountains of
Israel (v. 21).
Certainly, history would seem to prove this alliance wrong
until recently. As the headlines
have declared, both Russia and the Islamic world have formed a very strong
league just in the last ten to fifteen years.
I look for this war to take place at any moment and without
warning. Many believe it will take
place during the tribulation period (and it could), but that certainly isn’t a
prerequisite. There is a distinct
possibility it may happen simultaneously with the rapture of the church.
Even the secular world is beginning to see uncanny
similarities to this 2500-year-old prophecy and today’s Middle East (see Prophecy
Alert: Secular Jewish Newspaper Describes Uncanny Similarities Between Ezekiel's
Prophecies, Today's Mideast Reality...MUST READ!).
The Rebuilding Of The Temple: Again, this is one of the events in prophecy that does not
necessarily have to happen during the tribulation period.
The only requirement is that the temple be built, completed, and the
daily sacrifices resumed by the halfway point of the tribulation period.
That’s when the antichrist will desecrate the temple and stop the daily
sacrifices (Daniel 7:25; 9:27).
The Discovery Of The Ark Of The Covenant:
This is a personal view that I have and is contingent upon the temple
being rebuilt. It is my belief that
when the temple is rebuilt that the Ark Of The Covenant will be brought out of
hiding and will have its place in the newly built temple.
Certainly, this isn’t in concrete and the Ark may not even exist any longer, although, some today have claimed they have seen it. Whether that is true or not I will not debate. I will, however, take you to a scripture that I believe does declare that the Ark may exist even into the Millennial Reign Of Christ.
"And it shall
come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days,
saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD:
neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall
they visit it; neither shall that be done any more." (Jeremiah 3:16)
This verse speaks of
the millennium when Jesus will rule and reign for one thousand years. Of
course, this is future, but what caught my attention was the portion of the
scripture that stated (speaking of the Ark) "neither shall it come to mind:
neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that
be done any more".
I realize that in the context of the entire
chapter many interpret this verse to mean that Israel will forget the memory of
the Ark Of The Covenant when the Lord comes back to rule the earth. But is it
possible that it could be foretelling the revealing of the Ark Of The Covenant
in the last days (tribulation period/rebuilding of the temple) just before the
Lord's coming?
Middle East Peace: When
I say Middle East peace I am addressing the possibility of peace between Israel,
the antichrist, and other nations (Daniel 9:27).
This would kick off day one of the seven-year tribulation period.
Peace may not look possible at this point, but anything can
happen in a split second. I’ve
always said, after the rapture takes place things will advance very rapidly and
without notice.
The ENPI Agreement: This
agreement between Israel and the E.U. will begin January 1, 2007 and will last
for seven years. It has many of the
ingredients of the final peace plan described in the Bible.
As stated earlier, it is an agreement with the E.U. (believed to be the
kingdom of the antichrist in the last days) and Israel (along with other
nations) that will last seven years.
There are those in prophetic circles that believe this could possibly be the agreement that will start the tribulation period. I do believe that it is possible that one of these seven-year instrument periods could turn out to be the span of the tribulation but not necessarily the 2007-2013 period. As I outlined in a previous article, many other prophetic elements would have to come into play before it could be Biblically deemed the official start of the tribulation period. (See Article# 390: ENPI Seven-Year Plan).
Certainly, we do not know the complete plan of God nor the
future. He has, however, given us a
glimpse into the future through His Holy Word.
In response to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claim today at an international conference questioning the Holocaust that Israel's days are numbered...take his words serious! It may be sooner than we think.
Are you ready to meet the Lord? If not, your time is running out!
