Freak
Warmth seen lingering into early January...
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Mild weather was expected to linger in most of the
United States until at least early January, continuing a prolonged spell of
balmy conditions that has cut deeply into heating demand, government and private
forecasters said on Tuesday.
"We see no end at this point to the moderate weather pattern that virtually all of North America is experiencing," said Mike Palmerino of DTN Meteorlogix. "It is very unlikely anyone in the Northeast is going to get a white Christmas."

Jesus,
Mahdi both coming, says Iran's Ahmadinejad
In a greeting to the world's Christians for the coming new year,
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said he expects both Jesus and the Shiite
messianic figure, Imam Mahdi, to return and "wipe away oppression."
Comments
According to Iranian President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad, both the Christian Messiah Jesus and the messianic figure Imam Mahdi
will both come back and rid this world of all war, disease, and oppression.
But there is a twist...Ahmadinejad believes when Jesus comes He will give way to
the superior Imam Mahdi. If you haven't had a chance to read my article on
Article#
579:
What Muslim's Believe About The End Times! please
do so, it will give you a good understanding as to why Ahmadinejad would
even mention the name of Jesus.
Certainly, President Ahmadinejad is playing a very good world public relations game in his attempt to reach out to Christians worldwide wishing them a Merry Christmas. But don't be fooled...his religion is not a religion of peace at any level...the Islamic world knows that in the end all must convert or be destroy by the coming Islamic Reich.
But first things first...Israel must be destroyed, and according to Ahmadinejad, the vast majority of world leaders are behind him. Although I don't believe every world leader wants Israel destroyed I get the impression that they feel the world would be much better off if they no longer existed. It is this reality that I believe will take center stage very soon. When this great and vast army comes against Israel as 'a storm' all of the nations (including the U.S.) of the world will cut their losses and allow Israel to be destroyed. Most will applaud it while others will feel they have no other choice. That's when the Lord God will step in and shock the world!
According to Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, he said Hamas would accept a Palestinian state that was based on pre-1967 Israeli borders. He also said if that could be arranged he would be willing to sign a ceasefire agreement that could last for as long as 10 to 20 years. How about seven years?
Certainly, every time I hear talk of a Middle East peace agreement based on a timeframe it causes me to sit up and take notice. It wouldn't shock me in the least if a ceasefire agreement for a seven year timeframe turned out to be the future peace plan. But as we approach a new year, many are questioning me regarding the upcoming 2007-2013 ENPI agreement between Israel, the E.U. and a host of other nations as to whether this could be the long awaited agreement (see Article# 390: ENPI Seven Year Plan). My feeling is I hope that it is! I look for the rapture to take place everyday.
Of course, many who champion the ENPI agreement as the agreement of the antichrist believe that the church will go through a portion or all of the tribulation period. As you know, I do not hold to this theory, but believe scripture is clear that the church must be removed before the tribulation period can begin. There are also a number of events that must take place shortly after the signing of the peace agreement which will start day one of the tribulation period. For a complete look at what else must take place see Article# 588:Why The 2007-2013 ENPI Probably Won't Be The Seven Year Peace Agreement.
If you haven't heard, more freakish weather has developed in many parts of the world. All of North America is experiencing very high temperatures for this time of year and experts see it continuing well into January 2007.
"We see no end at this point to the moderate weather pattern that virtually all of North America is experiencing," said Mike Palmerino of DTN Meteorlogix. "It is very unlikely anyone in the Northeast is going to get a white Christmas."
'This is classic El Nino," DTN's Palmerino said, referring to the warming of Pacific Ocean waters that can affect weather around the world. http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews.aspx?type=domesticNews&storyID=2006-12-19T152734Z_01_N19265915_RTRUKOC_0_US-USA-WEATHER-WARMTH.xml&WTmodLoc=USNewsHome_C2_domesticNews-3
Certainly, I am not opposed to warm weather in December and January (I hope it continues) but see it as very strange to be experiencing such unusual weather patterns in these last days. Could this be another sign of the times?
Yesterday, North Korea declared itself a nuclear power and threatened to further advance its program if its demands were not met.
"Reiterating those demands in its opening speech, the North said the United Nations must lift the sanctions imposed on the communist nation for its Oct. 9 nuclear test. It also said the United States must remove the financial restrictions that led the North to break off the six-nation negotiations 13 months ago." http://www.foxnews.com/printer_friendly_story/0,3566,237098,00.html
Whether North Korea is a nuclear power or not is up for debate, but they should be taken seriously. I still believe they will play a major role in the great war of Revelation chapter six where one-quarter of the world's population will perish. I also see a very real possibility that they will play a part in the great army from the East (200 million) that will sweep to the west killing and destroying everything in their path (Revelation 9:13-19).
I don't know if you realize this, but the U.S. is on the verge of moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Apparently, Congress elected to do so back in 1995 but President Bush has postponed the move for another six months due to national security interests.
"Moving our embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem now would complicate our ability to help Israelis and Palestinians advance toward peace and the president's two-state vision," a White House official said on condition of anonymity. http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/802711.html
I find it fascinating that the world has such a fixation on Jerusalem. At the time, there are no embassy in Jerusalem, but that will all change once the U.S. makes its move. This also tells me that the U.S. is banking on Jerusalem becoming a capital of a nation very soon whether Israel likes it our not.
Something to think about. There are peace negotiations either going on or proposed in every corner of the globe and especially in the Middle East... including Syria, Jordan, Israel, Palestinian Authority, North Korea, Iran, Lebanon, and the list goes on and threatens to expand. It's an ongoing battle for peace that seems within reach, but yet unattainable. Is it possible that these various peace initiatives are simultaneously in development for such a time as now?
Are you ready to meet the Lord? If not, your time is running out!
