We don't need an article on nuclear terrorism to remind us that it is a very real threat we all face around the world.  Many may believe it is a problem confined to the U.S. but this war on terror will eventually affect anyone who is not of the Islamic faith.  You're fooling yourself if you believe otherwise.

U.S. President George Bush says that despite the Winograd report findings Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert plays a crucial part in working toward a two-state solution in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Unfortunately, I think President Bush has found the perfect Israeli puppet in Olmert and sees his chance of forcing peace on Israel (at any cost) slipping away.  If Olmert resigns that likely will end President Bush's chance of bringing peace to the region before he leaves office.  

The U.S. and E.U. have agreed not only to open up the skies to one another but up to 40 other areas as well paving the way for the world's two richest regions to bring closer to reality a single market.  Their goal is to harmonize regulation, travel and investment in and out of the two regions.

Certainly, anytime the phrase "single market" is in the headlines the first thing that comes to a Christian's mind is the Bible prophecy phrase "one world government" and so it should.   But personally, I am hesitant to say that a one world government will come into existence through diplomacy or peace agreements such as the one created by the U.S. and E.U.  Although many would disagree, I see a slightly different scenario.

At the end of the fourth seal, it's important to note that one-quarter of the world's population will die so that one man may reign supreme.  Will the antichrist bring about this war?  That's entirely possible.  Certainly, we can't rule out terrorism, but the important factor is, whatever comes out on the other side of this war will change the world forever.  I will go so far as to say that whatever prosperity and freedoms the world has experienced before this war will become nothing more than a distant memory...a mere shadow of what once was!  Truly, I really don't think the world is ready for or can image the horrors that await them. 

Whatever action causes this war, the outcome will reveal a new world leader that will change the face of the world dramatically and by force.  Democracy will be a thing of the past and all who oppose him will be crushed (Daniel 7:24).  He will set up a new one world government and proclaim himself to be God.  You will serve him or face the eventual death of yourself as well as your family.  

Many today who claim they would never take the mark of the beast will face that very decision.  With the threat of starvation staring them and family members in the face most will be deceived and take the mark.

Will you be one of those who be left behind?  Will you take the mark?
