Will Peace Be Realized Before President Bush Leaves Office?
With the US sponsored Middle East peace summit due to kick off on Tuesday, few are optimistic that it will eventually lead to peace. I am not one of them.
Let me explain myself...I do not believe that peace will be realized within President Bush's term in office. If it is, it won't be the peace plan of the antichrist.
As I said in my last article, there are just too many Biblical problems with the present situation. One, it is generally recognized by most Bible believing prophecy scholars that the antichrist will rise up out of the European Union to sign a peace accord with Israel. Two, the Bible makes it clear that this same person (antichrist) will still be in power 3 1/2 years later to break the treaty.
Here's the problem...if US President Bush is fortunate enough to bring peace to the Palestinians and the Israelis during his administration it will be at the end of his second and final term. Due to US term limits, he will be forced to leave the administration of this peace accord to the next US president making it impossible for him to break the treaty three and half years later as the Bible explicitly predicts (Daniel 9:27).
Is it really that simple? I believe it is, but one day, and I have to believe sooner than later, this peace accord will become a reality.
I will say, I have no doubt that we are witnessing the very peace accord the Bible predicted would take place in the last days more than 2500 years ago. At this point, the only player missing is the antichrist.
You may say, "I don't necessarily believe the antichrist will rise up out of the EU." That's fine, but whatever country he rises from, after signing the peace treaty, he will still have to be around in a position of great power to break the treaty 3 1/2 years later. That's the parameter the Bible clearly lays out in Daniel 9:27.
But before any peace deal can happen, the rapture of the church must take place so that the revealing of the antichrist can go forward (II Thessalonians 2:1-11).
That my friend, has no parameters standing in its way. With that said, this literally could be my last message and your final chance to come to the Lord.
Are you ready to meet the Lord? If not, your time is running out!
