'Israeli Air Force is ready to deal with Iran'
Wall Street dipped 430 points today settling below the 8,000 mark for the first time since 2003. Much of the loss was attributed to the belief that US automakers would be denied a $25 billion bailout package they are seeking. Many analysts believe that if GM, Ford, Chrysler, or all three, were allowed to fail it would cost the global economy as many as 3 million jobs. If that were to happen, I can't even imagine the devastating domino effect that could follow.
IAF commander Maj. -Gen. Ido Nehushtan, in an interview with German magazine Der Spiegel, said that "we are [Israel] ready to do whatever is demanded of us" in order to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. "The Air Force is a very robust and flexible force. We are ready to do whatever is demanded of us." Jpost.com
With the soon ascension of a new US president, the anticipated Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, and the continued freefall of the global economy, it's easy to project a future climate of uncertainty. But in time, it will get better...at least for a season.
Certainly, I believe the coming of the Lord, preceded by the rapture the church, is soon! I also believe that the world is ripe for the acceptance of a messiah figure. When the rapture of the church takes place I anticipate the world will be in shock. Global markets will further plunge to the brink of collapse, nation will rise against nation, and fear will rule the hearts of men. It will be during these early days of uncertainty that a man will rise above the rest and lead the world back from the depths of chaos to a time of stability and peace in a miraculously short amount time.
The question is, are we living in that day and time?
